We got our furniture made at home at 60%of market price , including upholstery and all .

You just need to get a good carpenter , we know a guy who worked at some outlet in Bangalore , know the work quite well .
Great but finding a carpenter who can make home furniture is not easy. This field is dominated by Momins. 99% of labor is momin.

Maybe they are also there. But in NCR the most popular furniture markets are all dominated by momin labor
However the shop, showroom or market owner are Hindus and Punjabi but the labor working in the back office is purely Momin.

Also the carpenters are mostly Hindu (Badhi caste) only but they are mostly into making Doors, Windows, Almirah , Cubards, cabinets, tables, stools, etc.

Who makes their own furniture in India? Do you mean getting it made by a carpenter? 90% of people get carpenter only for wooden work inside house including door, windows and cabinets and almirahs but not for furniture.
Furniture is made by dedicated Furniture wallahs in dedicated furniture markets in the outskirts of all major cities. 90% of the wood here comes from Malaysia and Indonesia only. This wood is very light and poor in quality even when it is imported.
Unless you are rich like @Haldilal is :cool1: , you don't use Indian superior wood.
All the doors, windows and sofa in my house are made from sagwan wood. I would prefer using it.

For our economical growth we need to focus not only on our economical development but choking our neighbors of their buiness ,we need to flood their market ,use Chinese strategy ,same product with different colour and labelling ,and selling it from different brands .

Any industry they have through fdi Should shift to india , just lure them to shut production there , when their capacity is critical in manufacturing that item sign a fta , then destroy their capacity in it , move on to next sector .

Bangladesh and Pakistan need to be choked off their exports , any expansion they try in except garments should be destroyed by indian brands , just make then tailor , that's what they are , and deserve to be , no need for some fanboy asking to benefit from their growth ,no need , just hamper theirs
You cannot put Bangladesh and Pakistan in same category Bangladesh is much better than Pakistan on all parameters

Enemy of state or potential enemy ,in a good guy land scenario ,we should not be worried about it , but with the experience of ours from some odd 1000 years , we should decimate this snake before it rise

FPIs invest Rs 8,000 cr in Indian markets in just four trading sessions

Foreign investors have infused close to Rs 8,000 crore into Indian equities in the first four trading sessions of June as risk-on sentiment improved amid rapidly falling new Covid cases and robust corporate earnings.

The inflow comes following a net withdrawal of Rs 2,954 crore in May and Rs 9,659 crore in April, data with depositories showed.

Going ahead, improvement in the scenario on the coronavirus front in the country and pick-up in the vaccination drive may attract higher FPIs investments, Himanshu Srivastava, Associate Director - Manager Research, Morningstar India, said.

Or maybe start a trading zone that helps each country having dangerous countries as your neighbors will mean there will never be stability in the region which can hurt investments it would be in our best interest to develop south asia rather than do it all alone

Or just make them your submissive Bitches , like we send clothes material from here to be cutted and stitched in bongoland , we earn profit margin because they have fta .

Similarly we export through them , similar to aesan for china , you got it isn't it mate

India, Australia likely to resume FTA talks soon

Official-level discussions are on between both countries to resume talks on the India Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA), Barry O’Farrell, Australian High Commissioner to India, told ET.

The talks were suspended in 2015 due to disagreement over issues such as market access in agriculture and dairy products, which Canberra had sought.

O’Farrell also said that the second Covid-19 wave had not dented the world’s enthusiasm about India.

India, Australia Likely to Resume FTA Talks Soon

“Discussions are on between officials on resuming the trade pact talks,” he said. Australia and India launched negotiations for a CECA in May 2011.

Only for SCROLL and QUNT and Indias opposition political parties.. india has failed the covid test. For investors in stock and other valid markers of economy etc India has done well during pandemic
