Three Islamic State J&K terrorists arrested by Delhi Police; explosives recovered

New Delhi: In a big development, the Delhi Police is reported to have arrested three terrorists belonging to the Islamic State J&K (ISJK) terror group. The arrests were made by the Delhi Police's Special Cell on Saturday. Arms and ammunition along with explosives have been recovered from their possession, news agency ANI reported.

The three suspected terrorists have been identified as Tahir Ali Khan, Haris Mushtaq Khan and Asif Suhail Nadaf.

Earlier this week, a high alert was sounded in the national capital after intelligence agencies tipped off the Delhi Police about two suspected terrorists, belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), possible entering the city.

The Delhi Police had subsequently issued an advisory to the public. “Anybody who spots them (terrorists) is requested to call Paharganj police station on 011-23520787 or 011-2352474,” the advisory had read.

Earlier, Punjab Police’s Counter Intelligence wing had said that “a group of 6-7 JeM terrorists are reportedly in Punjab… and are planning to move towards Delhi”.

such encounters happening at such rapid pace with actionable intelligence shows a couple of things

1) militants do not have as much local support as before
2) ISIS style beheading of informers has given army more support than ever
2) cross border LoC infiltrations are at an all-time low because most of the time these militants would go to PoK when challenged by forces.
3) army must have infiltrated into militant ranks to some extent... cant just rely on informers to feed you all the time.

the only two top well-known commanders left now are riyaz naikoo and zeenat ul islam. i hope army gets them before the end of year

These Yanks only talk. Though they have cut aid to Pak, they should do more like what they are doing to Iran. After all, they have lost 6 Americans too in the carnage. And it's been 10 years and the perpetrators are yet to be brought to justice.

Clamp all round sanctions on them. All this nonsense that if they do, Pak will go further into China's arms is a load of crap. They are already sleeping with the Chinks and sold their souls to them so they can't go any deeper into their arms.

So why the hesitation? Is it because Pak is providing passage for American warlike stores etc? Or is it the billions of dollars of drug money the CIA is making from Afghanistan with the help of Pak's ISI, which is being used by the CIA for regime changes having fancy names like 'color revolutions' like funding the Syrian rebels etc as well as for funding their black projects?
