It will be wiser if RR replace the heavier carl gustav rocket launchers in favor of RP7 airtronics which is the modified RPG7 made by USA.
CGRLs need a 2 man teams to operate where as a RPG7 could be operated by a single person who could carry 5 rounds along with the launcher.Also thhere is wide variety of rounds available foor RPGs according to the user needs.Plus weight is also an advantage in case of RPG.Also it produces very little amount of recoil.In CT ops RPG7 s wwill out pperform much heavier cgrlS.

Carl gustav is much more accurate than rpg at all ranges,for its being a recoil less rifle basically.It is very good at anti light armor and bunker busting.The advantages you named are true but if you consider overall scenario,battles,war,ambush etc then Carl gustav is better than rpg.

I have read and heard from many army men ,that one weapon that make terrorist piss in their pants is CG.

In Iraq war,US special forces were issued CG,when marine saw its effectiveness then they made an urgent request for it,as a result of it a huge number of CG was bought for them from abroad.This tell us how effective it is.

So in the end CG is fine ,instead we should focus on providing various scopes for rifles ,right from red dot to 8x sights for ct ops.

In conventional battles where there is high chance to engage light armour and also fortified enemy positions CGRLs are way ahead of RPGS.No doubt.
But in case of CT Ops where encounter happens with in 100-150 mts RPGs could be as much effective as CGRLs.Plus considering long range patrols of RR much lighter RPGs fitted with scopes will be better than CGRLs.

RPG cannot deploy Smoke or illumination which are essential in any CT ops, Specially at Night ..

Indian Army use single shot RL but not RPG, Nor Single shot RL is replacement for 84mm RL ..

Have the COBRAS procured the MP5Ns? Its the only variant which can adopt a sound suppressor i think.
