Prototype yes, Production one into mass production should stand around 1 lakh ..

50 Lakhs

Manufacturing it in India won't go as cheap as 1 Lakh or below unless you want to make it from scraps.

Still it will cost around 5 Lakhs. Depending upon Armour & Engine being used.

DRDO`s Small IFV to counter terrorist ..

Each vehicle cost nearly 50 lakhs or more, That is coz the vehicle is basically imported and the rest of work is done in the workshop, Hence extreamly expensive, Such vehicles should be under 1 lakh ore lesser, For that everything need to done in India ..
Where did you get these pics from bro?

+ FFS- getting REGULAR infantry with INSAS and such to test this sort of vehicle- REALLY??

Not even a police SWAT/SRU let alone the NSG or Ghataks or PARA (SF).

Stupidity on show really.

The IFV is design according to Army requirements ( Petrol engine & tracks ), Its purpose >

1. To provide fire support in narrow roads where bigger vehicles cannot go..
2. It can also evacuate wounded soldiers from firefighting zones..
3. It can be carried anywhere by simple army trucks and can be slung from light helicopter ..
4.The Vehicle is small enough to move over mountain roads and pass where jeeps cant even go ..

Similar vehicle are deign as per NSG requirements by TATA & DRDO ( Wheels and Electric engine ) ..

Can someone provide more detail on Small IFV!??
So nice of DRDO to reinvent the wheel, Unless this vehicle can climb stair cases and carry at least 4 fully equipped soldiers + additional equipment, really not worth the investment.

Actually looks like a 4 wheeled auto rickshaw!

At least they cold have come up with designs with better CG! Not something which will probably topple over if a greanade bursts beside it. And some protection for the tyres? Even a kevlar/carbon composite mudguard/tire cover would have been good.

Any specs or performance available?
