I think guns are illegal in India and strict action should be taken by j and k police and if they are not capable enough then army should be called.

We did that with Kukka Parrey who was a highly trained LeT terrorist who got training from SSG, but Doval managed to brainwash him and get him on our side and he started a new org called Ikhwan. They had managed to bring down insurgency by 80%, he had even contested elections I think, but our agencies failed to protect him. He was assassinated by ISI.

Our agencies have a very good track record of failing to protect nationalist assets, be it Lal Bahadur Shashtri, or Indira, or Kukka Parrey or, Mujibur Rehman.

When Kukka Parrey died, not even a junior inspector level person went to his funeral. His wife is still waiting for compensation. If this is how you treat your assets, then who will want to become your asset.
