No. Our troops were initially using importer 7.62 rounds. When those rounds ran out, they switched to OFB manufactured rounds and the snags started happening.

Probably not. Mind you, our machine guns are also 7.62 chambered and not .308
OFB ammo is just not up to the mark. They have terrible quality control.
