We don't need the LAVs... I was only curious about the RCWS. With ATGM in the launchers, it would be a good turret.
True but we need the air defense version with integrated MANPADS as well mounted on some LAVs (not necessarily those JLTVs) as well keeping in mind the hundreds of drones in service with the PLA.

Ukraine will modernized BMP-2 Sarath IFV Infantry Fighting Vehicle of Indian army
Cooperation primarily relates to the manufacture and supply of components and systems for improving BMP mobility, modernization of sighting and fire control systems. Indian park of different BMP-2 versions consists of about 2000 vehicles. Most of them require modernization and combat characteristics improvement.

“UKROBORONPROM is conquering world markets, having established itself as a reliable partner, qualitatively and timely fulfilling all contract terms. Enhancing cooperation with India will allow us moving to a new level, providing stable inflow of foreign currency. These funds will be used for production modernization and manufacture of modern military equipment for Ukrainian Army “, – said UKROBORONPROM Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Activity Denis Gurak.
“Reliance Defence Limited” took a view of the world’s largest transport aircraft An-124-100 “Russian” and AN-225 “Mriya,” short take-off and landing military transport aircraft An-70. They assessed the possibility of passenger aircraft An-158 and promising transport aircraft An-178 during demonstration flights.
The documents signed are the result of the successful participation of UKROBORONPROM enterprises at arms and equipment expo "DefExpo-2016" and negotiations, initiated by SE “SpetsTehnoEksport.”

The Sarath is the name of the Soviet-made BMP-2 tracked armoured infantry fighting vehicle manufactured under license in India.

The Sarath is fitted with a two-man turret identical of the Russian-made BMP-2. It is armed with a 30 mm 2A42 dual-feed cannon, a 7.62 mm PKT coaxial machine gun and a roof-mounted AT-5 `Spandrel' ATGW launcher with a maximum range of 4,000 m. This missile is manufactured in India by BDL (Bharat Dynamics Limited).

The DAC on July 2, 2020 approved BMP-2 Armament Upgrade for the IA. The upgrade wasn't listed among indigenously developed weapon systems so it could be the kit based Russian Berezhok upgrade that can be implemented at low cost and in short time.
The recent DAC approval was likely connected with the ongoing crises along the LAC. During DefExpo 2020, OFB exhibited an upgraded BMP-2 that lacked the punch of the Berezhok (below).
The upgrade, which requires minimal modifications of the tower, equips the BMP-2 with 3rd gen Kornet-E ATGM, 30-mm automatic grenade launcher (AG) AH-30, automatic target tracking and ballistic computer with the sensor system, and a television Panoramic sight for the commander.
Russia first pitched the Berezhok upgrade to India during DefExpo 2014. The DAC on July 8, 2017 nominated OFB and BEL to carry out (Make-in-India) midlife upgrade of 693 Russian-made BMP-II infantry combat vehicles. However, the total number of BMP-2s in service is around 1900.

I would prefer the upgrade module offered by L&T for the BMP-2.
Also, it is high time we start looking for next generation IFV

Russian Army to get over 60 Kornet Missiles-armed BMP-2 IFVs in 2020
The Russian Army will receive over 60 BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles armed with Berezhok combat turrets to fire Kornet anti-tank guided missiles, in 2020.

“More than 60 BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles with the Berezhok combat unit will enter the Ground Wax units. The inhabited two-seater combat compartment Berezhok is a classic BMP-2 turret, but with an updated weapon system. It has an improved combined sight with an independent stabilization system for the line of sight in two planes, a television and laser rangefinder channels, as well as an anti-tank guided missile guidance channel,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement Sunday.

“The Berezhok module adds more firepower to the BMP-2 IFV,” a source told Defenseworld.net on Wednesday.

The BMP-2M IFVs are equipped Kornet ATGMs (Kornet-EM and Kornet-HE missiles have a range of 10km), 2A42 30-mm automatic gun, AG-30M 30-mm grenade launcher and 7.62-mm PKT machine-gun. The automatic guns and grenade launchers have a range of 4km and 2.1km respectively. The upgrade includes integrating new R-168-25U-2 radio station for classified communication for increased protection against interception and decryption of radio data, and to resist interference.

Designed by KBP company that has also built the Pantsir air defense system, the Berezhok weighs between 2.8-3.3 tons. It has four ATGM tubes, while the normally such modules have only one or two tubes.

“Berezhok provides the vehicle with the ability to fire two missiles with minimum intervals. As with the AGS-30M grenade launcher, it can hit targets on the reverse side of the slope. It can be fitted into armored vehicles and can also be used as a stationary weapon,” the source added.

One of the potential customers for the Berezhok is India which has several BMP-2 IFVs. The Army has also hinted at an upgrade, according to the local media.

CCS clears 10,000 Russian anti-tank missiles for Army
The CCS cleared the proposal to acquire Russian-origin 10,000 Konkurs-M anti-tank guided missiles for the Mechanised Infantry and Infantry battalions of the Army, sources said here.

New Delhi: A Rs 1,200 crore proposal for procuring 10,000 anti-tank guided missiles for the Army from Russia was cleared today by the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS).

The CCS cleared the proposal to acquire Russian-origin 10,000 Konkurs-M anti-tank guided missiles for the Mechanised Infantry and Infantry battalions of the Army, sources said here.

The Konkurs-M are part of the weapon systems being procured by the force to augment the anti-tank arsenal in the Army, they said.

The CCS had last week cleared the purchase of 25,000 Invar missiles for the T-90 tank fleet under a Rs 2,000 crore proposal.

The Konkurs are part of the anti-tank weapon family of the force which includes the Milan anti-tank guided missiles which India has been buying from France and also license-producing it at the Bharat Dynamics Limited facilities here.

Soon after the Mumbai terror attack in 2008, there were reports suggesting that the Army was facing a severe shortage of tank ammunition as well as anti-tank weapons.

Former Army Chief Gen V K Singh had also written a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh highlighting a critical shortage of tank ammunition and obsolescence of the air defence weaponry.

Soon after the letter was received, Defence Minister A K Antony held several rounds of meetings with top Ministry brass and military officials and since then has taken steps to ease the shortfall.
