Basically don't fall for the false hopium being planted by Twitter shills.They may all say that only ATAGS would win the TGS contract but we all know how this is gonna pan out

It's well known that Athos is coming in 1000s
U must give credit to lobby and army how patiently they ahve planned and executed it
They intentionally choose Adani
No point of having 5 trillion dollar economy, access to critical technologies, high pci when ur nation have no autonomy in deciding its weapons and lobby still thriving strong and dictating similarly to 70s 80s 90s
On one hand u have to satisfy lobby and on other u have to pay diplomatic jaziya
In both the cases our indigenous efforts are going useless
It's better to close drdo or psu and import whatever u want and divert their funds to horrible socialist schemes
Both politicians and military will be benefitted

Maybe for the same reason why bullpups(Tavor's) were forced down SF & Para units and standardized despite the initial bunch facing serious issues. Yet they were persisted with for over a decade and a half.

There are too many 'mechanical' moving parts in Athos and wonder what their availability would be in the thick of battle should there ever be one. Have they been as vigorously tested as the ATAGS?

I hope MoD cracks the whip and forces a retrial between Athos, ATAGS and Dhanush(155/52).

Given the cold treatment meted out to Tonbo in the past, shouldn't surprise us if the top comes out as less competent, cocky or plain ...never mind.

Drill, PT, Parade and gardening hold greater priority in instilling soldier discipline at the TC I guess and the grunt carries the same to his unit. Competence can go for a toss.

This is relatively easier to fix by just putting that Dhanush on a better truck and configuration;
DRDO in their upmost wisdom just put it on regular BEML Tatra truck whatever be available to them etc

No RFP for MGS, just AON

Only 145+100 155/52 guns ordered in the last 20 years, not much chance they order a single extra unit (other than 100 more K9 and maybe the ATAGS in 2-3 years) in the next 5 years that’s for sure
