The RFI states that a gun less than 15 tonnes weight will be preferred, however it is not a necessity. I have not read the whole RFI, but is there any clause in it regarding the indigenous design of the gun?

That 3-4 ton needed to be check though by ATAGS it's been years knowing that. If still some one is saying they pulled it out from nowhere.. well no they raised this issue years back .

3-4 tons overweight with a 25L chamber? One has to compare apples with apples. None of the sub15-16t guns have the performance of the ATAGS (~50km range with conventional ammo)

at this point why even build world class equipment IDDM when these clowns will find some arbitrary reason to exclude it for their foreign preferences.

Start reforming and handing punishment. what Indian army keep doing is nothing but making india not able to fight industrial warfare so treason case should be used liberally.Not like the way they are doing now with kids glove.

Fully agree. But still the army ecosystem (Dalal ecosystem )keep making fool out of them. Political will is required but to implement politcal will capable guy from service is needed. Also private guys also must invest in making ecosystem inside services.
Also harsh punishment are needed to make officers(of any service) fall in line. A concept aliens to Indians.

I know for sure (in other deparment). The officers do completely opposite to what is expected to them. Gov says ,complete project in 4 yrs(project running already late not to mention overpriced becoz of some exotic paints and material due to kickbacks with 10 different consultants for same type of structure) project is still running and no end in sight. . Should have burn down all British era institutions.
