It's a static reluctant most probably from the Indian Armor museum

Its time, We start mounting heavy weapon / turret on selected MPVs ..

Mounting such a turret will provide increase firesupport and these modifications cannot be called tanks hence no media can paint them so and won`t make much fuss about it, At best these will be just armed MPVs ..

Kunal, are those Casspirs or Indian made MPVs? Can't see as well as I'd like! Also, anyone have any photos of the improvised armoured vehicles used by CAPFs?

Although their total requirement has been estimated to be 1,500 by all forces, Army is major user of these vehicle ..

266 Aditya-type MPVs sold to the Indian Army in 2006.
250 MPVs sold in 2007.
329 ordered in 2009.
250 MPVs purchased in 2016.

Yes - I checked the sources and it all adds up. There were reliable reports going back from 2006 to 2016.
