In 1971, to prevent confusion with Pak T-59s, tin cans and metal cylinders were used on Indian T-54/-55s to mimic the L7/20pdr fume extractor. The upgrade took place in the 1980s I think.

that is MT-LB based Strela-10M3 SAM system, we have More than 250 such systems serve with the Indian Army's Corps of Army Air Defence.

Aren't these outdated?
We need to upgrade them with Pantsir-S1,threats are growing every passing minute.

It looks very dystopian and jihadi monsters deserve nothing less than dystopian.

Sorry guys, this has exactly 0 chance of coming to Kashmir.

Who will use it? JKP (can't afford it)? CRPF (aren't even deploying their specialist anti-riot unit, RAF, to the valley)?

Mahindra can offer it to the forces but they are unlikely to buy it. Ideally this should be ordered by CRPF's RAF and they should crush the Jihadi stone pelters once anytime they dare to take to the streets but it is clear by how pathetically the security forces handle these crowd control issues that there is little interest in tackling this problem once and for all.
