He's probably using it on purpose. Ra-FAIL.

Well the only place where the plane is selling is
A) A dictator who need to legtimise his rule and wants support from UNSC member. By the way, Egypt has crisis with economy, Food and rising prices and the president is on record saying.. If I could sell myself I would do it.. and his decision... purchase Rafales by taking money from arab countries (and france)
When a country has a messed economy and they are having peace and they do not have any conflict with anyone, why else is there urgency for new planes costing few billion dollars. Its like a hungry beggar taking loans and buy nice fat gold chain. Wrong priorities.. Now the question is what helped him to decide to spend in defence instead of spending it on economy... anyone?

Yes you call it a winner but not the best

Also iaf said there are two winners

Rafale and EFT not one
The problem is that some French in a way are Retards maybe due to their problem with understanding english
It is well documented that EFT and Rafale were selected as finalist first as the two planes which satisfied the ASR Thus these two were short listed. Then then the commercial bids for these two were opened to come to LCC where Rafale was declared as LOWEST BIDDER, This status of L1 was achieved due to wrong data and values provided by then IAF chief NAK Browne and this is well documented too as this is the second bidding he has directly interfered to get a favourable outcome to the parties he wanted (this interference to fix result is corruption also TENDER-FIXING. Now the french maybe because their national animal is a cock, do not seem to understand the difference between being best and being lower priced and also difference between one being cheap and other being quoted exhorbitantly high..

Nice AESA radar : YES
Nice reliability : YES
Nice range of weapons : YES
Nice handling caracteristics : NO. Rafale run circles around this whale.
Stealthy aspect : largely inferior to Rafale (just see difference in size...). So a stealthier plane need a smaller radar to do same job.
Do you think US will give you Growler : NEVER ! You're not a narrow ally as Australia.....
US already gave us a lot of stuff and are actively taking part in the design on next gen Indian N-subs and N-Carrier so Growler shouldn't be an issue if the request is raised. Handling has little to do with the SH, Rafale won't get anywhere near the SH before it's shot down in BVR by the SH. Stealth wise, the SH is not far off from the Rafale, The Advanced Super Hornet with CFTs, Stealth pods is even stealthier than before. I mean, Rafale didn't even have a Helmet mounted cueing system till recently, SH was one of the 1st to adopt this.

Conformal tanks were developped more than 15 years ago on Rafale :

"silence" Rafale is already studied :

And Brazilan pilots during FX2 tests said Rafale wass the stealthier of the 3 planes tested.

France AdlA doesn't think helmet is a mature tech enough.... so not helmet on the drawing board.
but in 2018 Rafale for Qatar will have a helmet. 2018 .... in only 2 years !

"You're a feisty little one, but you'll soon learn some respect. I have need for you on the master's sail barge, and I think you'll fill in nicely."

French translation : " Tu es un petit bagarreur ! "

At the end, only one remain. And this one was Rafale.
Two remained and CNC was MADE TO BELIEVE THAT RAFALE WAS CHEAPER OVER 40 YEARS.
Actually even Rafale fan boys are saying that over 40 years Rafale is cheaper than Su-30 MKI but @PaliwalWarrior has calculated that Rafale will always be more expensive to use. That too based on assumptions which are not correct. If the correct numbers are taken, then Rafale is as exhorbitant to use as F-35

Helmet cueing system is essential for WVR combat, And are Rafale fanboys not talking how Rafale is excellent for Dogfighting, and you feel helmet cueing system is not important?? Wow, Seems "cannot be done" or "too expensive to buy" is the new French "not essential"

Rafale WILL NOT be made in India. Period.

Any aircraft that is made in India has to come in at at less than $60M per unit. Western origin planes will be considered for this project, but it is a price sensitive project. The single engine fighters with lower flying costs are the ones being considered.

A successful outcome will result in up to 200 fighters being procured.

The current thinking is that half of fighter strength should be single engine fighters, which can be made equally by LCA and this fighter chosen under make in India.

Then I guess none of the plane from MMRCA qualifies except maybe MiG-35

JAS Gripen has unit cost of under 50M. The unit cost does not include life cycle costs. The unit cost is flyaway cost. If factory is in India, MOD does not need life cycle costs. Only issue is reliability of spares.

Even F-16 may be available near this, but Americans will insist on most parts being made in USA.

CFTs are not ground breaking tech but the SH International has already demonstrated lower RCS than before and also carries Stealth Pods which now the French are trying to copy on the Rafale for 2030. SH has already demonstrated them 3 years ago. Helmet mounted cueing is essential for winning in WVR.

F35 ? no one can say what it will cost to support. Even the purchase price is not frozen.

All recent exercices prove Rafale don't need a helmet to win. Wait 2 years and you will have your toy.

You don't know what Dassault is studying.
See COnformal tanks : 1 week ago you don't know they exist on Rafale ! But they were developped 15 years ago ....

I never said Rafale didn't have CFTs, I only mentioned SH Advanced features CFTs along side more stealth optimization, stealth pods etc. Learn to read
