India's 'loud' arsenal that Pakis fear the most
There were signs of Pakistan fearing this Indian arsenal for a while, but in the recent days it's become amply evident what Pakistan has been fearing for the last decade or so - It's the new age nationalistic media!
For decades Pakistan had amply cultivated the Lutyen's media into peddling its narrative either by luring them into ogling their fair skinned avatars or by guilt tripping them into accepting Pakistan's victimhood. Lutyen's media that's characterized by nothing but vanity and desire to 'appear good' in the western eyes, was a useful idiot to Paki ISI.
The Paki fear of India's new age nationalistic media was evident for a while....as Paki ISI forced every news channel to parrot lines about how 'fair their own reporting is' and how 'free they are from any interference from the establishment'. And in the same breadth each news channel would comment on how constrained Indian news channels are! The whole exercise would be like a battered housewife giving a clean chit to her abusive husband! Which country's media go on the offensive of another country's media?
For decades Indian government itself had banned news organizations, magazines, novels, movies from describing Pakistan as an enemy state - for the stupid fear of reprisal against local Muslims! With the onset of 24/7 cable news and Internet those at restrictions were thrown out the windows. Still the print media was dominated by the 'traditional' ambivalence that had gotten steeped in them. The last decade, however, saw a stark departure from the tame editorializing of news coverage to a more high decibel fact based truth telling by news channels.
The attacks on India media from Pakistan's media was relentless, and some dumb Indian media persons would parrot the same lines! This Paki fear of new age nationalistic media become way too evident when Paki ISI made the doctored video of WC Abhinandan purporting to discredit Indian media (he probably was made to talk about Jihadi mullas or something; and then that comment was joined with words 'Indian Media' in front of them - quite obvious from the video).
For decades India just lay down and took Paki punches on the chin; and media and government of the day asked the country to not even cry out in pain! The new defiant India, which Pakis fear is being cultivated by the new age nationalistic media, is something that Pakis are shit scared of - as the elephant is finally made to realize its strength Pakis fear its rampage!!
