Tejas Mk 1A production will reach 16 - 24 in 2 years time. Will replace MiG 21 and MiG 27.

Su 30MKI may have atleast 40 more ordered and all upgraded to Su 30MKI Super Sukhoi standard.

Rafale will come along with 114 more via tender.
And each sqn has like 24 craft. Till 60sqn is 28 more + 6-7 MiG that needs to be replaced= 35sqn. So total 35*24= 840 craft.

How many Rafales they sending in Sept?

It will take around 2025 for IAF to reach desired Squadron level if induction of fighters aren't disrupted. We wasted whooping 10 yrs , this time delay by one year increases time line to 3+ years.

Why there is no news about aerial strikes on Muzaffarabad and Chakothi?
There are reasons to say is after strikes of Muzzafaabad and Chakothi , we learnt many PA men got vapourized. Thats what made PAF to carryout air strike on IA Brigade HQ. According to Indian narrative it was War on Terror , so we didn't want to bring world attention of rumours of dead PA troopers. PA is pathalogical liars they will twist facts and use against us. It be be very bad PR damage to us.

Swift & sustained retaliation — what Indian Army is discussing at commanders’ meet

New Delhi: Making a quick move to punish the enemy, if needed, and sustaining an intense onslaught for at least 10 days against the other side: The top commanders of the Army are deliberating a recalibration of the force’s strategy in the face of changing threats and operational requirements.

According to sources privy to the deliberations, the Army’s aim now is to ensure that sustained military pressure is brought on against the Pakistan Army at the Line of Control in the face of provocations, and capabilities enhanced along the northern and eastern borders with China.

Building its capability to carry out a sustained 10-day operation has been on the Army’s agenda since 2017.

When terrorists struck an Army base at Uri, Kashmir, in September 2016, the defence ministry realised that the force was severely under-equipped to carry out a sustained operation if the need arose.

“Following this, a number of steps were taken and a lot of purchases made under the emergency power of the vice-chief,” the aforementioned source said. “We have now reached a comfortable position.”
Refusing to get into the details of the operational purchases made, the source said the acquisitions included anti-tank guided missiles and artillery fuses. Sources said that a large number of orders had been placed with Russia, with talks underway for more Smerch rockets, which have a range of about 90 km.

“The focus is not only on the infantry but also on other services that play a very critical role,” said a second Army source. “Many of the processes initiated have either being completed or are in the process of immediate realisation.”

When the Pakistan Army resorted to heavy-calibre weapons, India deployed its own heavy artillery like the Bofors among other weapons, which are not being named by ThePrint in deference to operational secrecy.

“A lot many operational handicaps have been taken care of since 2017 and the focus is now to ensure that challenges are dealt with theatre-wise,” a third Army source said.

Still, GOI should have told about these strikes. There is not even a discussion on Muzaffarabad strikes on any news channel.

Real Dangal will start when IAF completely integrates Rafale and Tejas into their War room.
Stick 4 Rafales and a Sqn of Tejas? We can't do anything with them till at least we have 2-3 Sqn of each. Still 2-3 years minimum.

You can realise how nasty the strikes were when even blabbermouth Gafoor is silent about this. GoI wants this to be under radar since probablities are, if the countries accept the strikes there, they would have to go to war directly.

Pakistan PM sees better chance of peace talks with India if Modi's BJP wins election
:pound::pound::pound:

ISLAMABAD, April 9 (Reuters) - Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said he thinks there may be a better chance of peace talks with India if Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wins the general election due to begin there on Thursday.

Khan said that if the next Indian government were led by the opposition Congress party, it might be too scared to seek a settlement with Pakistan over disputed Indian-controlled Kashmir, fearing a backlash from the right.

As I told we got PA , ISI casualities. We didn't want 5th column in India hue cry on Government for killing PA troopers and igniting war like senario . Already Indians were de-moralized to core , every step you take has many consequences which we get to see aftermath. Clever man can anticipate this and avoid circus.

That's mission 2025. With the the way the opposition embitters and complicates each deal, who knows how late they'll make any acquisition.
Currently opposition has plans to drop Rafale and initiate talk with Eurofighter.

4 in September.

Meanwhile PAF stuck with only Blunders. :biggrin2:
Look, Abhi is a great pilot and the MiG-21 downing F-16 is a very very difficult task. As it stands, the MiG are way worse than F-16s, the only parity is brought by superior quality of our airmen. I am afraid when in 2 years, the MiGs retire. We will be pretty down in strength, and with no sight of sizeable equivalent acquisition.

We have Tejas which match up to F 16 Blk 52. Tejas Mk1A with elta 2052 radar AESA and integrated EW suit will screw blunder and F 16.
