India Lodges Strong Protest With Pakistan Over Harassment of its Mission Officials in Islamabad

New Delhi: India has lodged a strong protest with Pakistan over several incidents of alleged harassment of Indian High Commission officials in Islamabad between March 8 and 11, and demanded an immediate investigation into them, official sources said Monday.

The Indian High Commission issued a "note verbale" to Pakistan Foreign Ministry on March 13, giving a detailed account of the incidents including tailing of India's Deputy High Commissioner, Naval Adviser and a first secretary on multiple occasions, they said.

The sources said the deputy high commissioner was aggressively tailed by Pakistani security personnel on March 9 and 10 while the first secretary faced similar harassment on March 8.

According to the post on BRF, they tried to push in. Not from LoC, but from IB. The word 'push' is interesting. Maybe regulars were creating a diversion for the terrorists or they were actually looking for gaining some territory.

Here is an old article from 2017 RSS Indresh talking about giving representation to POK in J&K assembly. Presently seats from Jammu & Laddakh if all won by BJP can give it majority. But if POK is given representation, hard to perceive the status and the kind of laws passed in assembly. How will they ensure POK representatives show allegiance to Constitution of India and Indian Tri Color Flag.
