IAF and PAF is still doing drill. Our submarines and aircraft carrier are still near enemy water. Big guns are still roaring. Pakistan air space is still closed . Internet service still suspended enemy side of LOC. This is ongoing operation and will end with end of terrorism.

I think he is warning us about Paki Psy ops on Twitter. People are asking him about IA's retaliation but he can't disclose ongoing ops. This gives Pakis the chance to present their narrative.

US is using a derivative of their SDI research. They put in a lot of money into that hole and developed a strong laser capability.

I doubt India will go that route - there a few technical challenges that will be a pain to solve, not to mention the budget needed for this type of systems.

Agreed...Pakis have better soldiers on SM than on the real battle field... they're giving their all to make us look 2nd best after every incident. Hopefully there'll be some undeniable proof coming out soon.

ISRO's EMISAT: Electronic Spy in Space

EMISAT is an advanced electronic intelligence (ELINT) satellite jointly developed by ISRO-DRDO. It has a basic architecture similar to HySIS (based on Small Satellite Bus-2) which was first used in SARAL satellite. The satellite has been under development for nearly 8 years. The ELINT payload of the satellite was developed under project KAUTILYA by Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad. The project was first acknowledged in the Ministry of Defence annual report 2013-14.

The absence of large antenna (unless it has an unfurlable mesh antenna which isn't visible in render) indicates that EMISAT appears to be designed to intercept directed microwave transmissions. The microwave link between a satellite and ground station is highly directional. To intercept tight beam transmission, eavesdropper satellite has to be placed between the ground station and the target satellite. Another use of EMISAT is to determine the location of radar emitters (ground and naval) and command nodes. A single EMISAT will be able to determine the probable location of radio emitters, however, for increased DF (direction finding) accuracy multiple satellites are required.
American SIGINT satellite Orion has a 255 feet diameter unfurlable antenna which can detect signals from a wristwatch-sized radio. Orion satellites are used for intercepting missile telemetry/datalink signals and monitoring microwave traffic. SIGINT satellites like Orion are prohibitively expensive ($750 million each) for a country like India. EMISAT is a low-cost alternative. A cluster of EMISATs could mimic functions of a large satellite by sharing processing, communication and mission functions at a fraction of the cost.

Your CEP increases - by quite a large margin. If you are aiming to take out a hardened site that will mess your chances. If the shit hits the fan the PM wont be at his Race Course Residence he will be in a hardened bunker with the rest of the leadership. I believe news is true. Porkis have realized that we don't want to escalate and rather keep operation to a limited surgical strike. If Porkis don't react now in getting exorbitant cost from us then they know surgical strike will become norm after every major terrorist attack in India, doesn't matter who's in power.

It's Porkis attempt to shake away from this punitive strikes policy of India. They will continue escalation until they are about to collapse.

Their strategy right now is to send hundreds of coffins back to mainland India and make Indians realize cost of striking back for terrorism.

We are in for a long haul and expect foolishness from Porkis
