There would be some capability increase when IAF receives Rafales ,Apaches ,S400 ,chinooks in next 2 years ,mig 21 and mig 27 will retire in next few years ,mmrca 2.0 of 114 and naval aircrafts 56 should be concluded ASAP

we can't blame IAF for flying mig21 becoz there is no other replacement available at the current time, if we ground all mig21 fighter in next few months or retire them there will be large pool of pilots just simply siting around one logical answer is speed up m1ka devp ready before 2021 also give more 40 mk1 orders

rafel increase our strategic capability 3 fold but in peacetime what we need tactical supiroity which porki have in numbers as junk ighter 17 , u need 4 gen fighter for regular CAp mission exploiting mig21 for its way overa life time is too dangureus
