India needs to help it's partners like Israel Bhutan Siri lanka Mauritius yes even China. And other Pro india SEA countries
We need to help iran and all because we want to showcase ourselves as a big player In middle east also if we help smaller states then our good will grows and so does our standing in the region. We need to help our friends in Africa which are safe for now.
A country like india which aims to become to become a regional and globe power needs to do something in region for having a higher moral standing against our adversary china.
This will show that we are dependable partner.
Indian good will will work on Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, maybe even Bangladesh. But it will NEVER be recognized or repaid by Iran, China, ASEAN and the like. We have to be very conservative in who we send medical supplies to, and who we dont. The disaster hasn't even started in India. We need to fix our home first before the epidemic goes full swing here. And rest assured, it will blow up to massive proportions.

For many years, IFS guys and political analysts have been saying Iran is an extremely untrustworthy partner. Now their colours have come out. We did not send supplies to Iran because we wanted to. They forced us to send it, threatening to not allow our citizens to leave otherwise. China made the same threat. These countries shamelessly demanded medical supplies from India, holding our citizens as hostage. This was outright blackmail and thuggery. It won't come out in the media, but I have a few inside contacts who have been involved in this.

You can expect a severe downgrade in relations between India and Iran in the coming months. Chabahar can get fucked.

They also have the locust invasion right now. If they are hit with the Wuhan virus hard, then their food security will be in serious jeopardy.
They then have to focus on solving their water scarcity issue which I don't know how much attention is being paid to.
Pakis are fu*ked...
I hope Porki dogs stay fucked forever.

Govt issues gazette notification for adaptation of 37 central laws in J&K
New Delhi, Mar 18 (PTI) The Centre on Wednesday issued a gazette notification for the adaptation of 37 central laws in the Concurrent List for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The gazette notification, issued by the Union Home Ministry''s Department of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Affairs, comes into force with immediate effect.

It contains the 37 central laws including the representation of people act, the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, the protection of human rights act, the prevention of corruption act and the Indian Penal Code among others.

On February 26, the Cabinet gave its nod to issue an order which will allow 37 central laws in the Concurrent List to be implemented in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Last August, the Centre announced the abrogation of Article 370 provisions for Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the state into two Union territories.

The new territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh came into being on October 31, 2019.

An official statement later said all the central laws, applicable to the whole of India except the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir before October 31, 2019 are now applicable to Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir from October 31, 2019.

"...It is necessary to adapt the central laws made under the Concurrent List, with required modifications and amendments, for ensuring administrative effectiveness and smooth transition with respect to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir thereby removing any ambiguity in their application in line with the Constitution of India," it had said.

When time is right we need to play the same blackmail game with China and Iran.

Also, was Iran holding hostage Hindu or Shia citizens of India?

Shia citizens. They were all pilgrims who went to Iran. There are about 240 who remain in there, for whom we are taking care of medical services, food and accommodation.

Indian Army now world’s largest ground force as China halves strength on modernisation push
While the Indian Army is bearing the burden of a large personnel driven force, the Chinese are in the midst of a massive modernisation.

New Delhi: With approximately 1.4 million personnel, the Indian Army has become the world’s largest ground force, pulling ahead of China, which cut down its strength by half and is instead focusing on its navy, air force and technology.

According to the Defence of Japan 2019 report, released late last year, China has the third largest ground force in the world following India and North Korea, with approximately 9,80,000 personnel.

The Peoples’ Liberation Army (PLA) was always regarded as the largest army in the world with an approximate strength of two million soldiers.

The unprecedented reform began in November that year during which the focus shifted to technology for cyber and space and futuristic weapons besides giving a greater emphasis on building up the PLA’s Navy and the Air Force.

“Since 1985, China has continuously sought to modernize its military by curtailing the number of personnel and streamlining organizations and systems through reforms, including those currently being implemented, in order to improve operational capabilities … China has rapidly modernized its missile forces in recent years,” the Japanese military document said.

PLA ground forces cut by half

In January 2020, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported that China had cut the size of its land-based PLA by about 50 per cent and significantly boosted its navy and air force as part of an “unprecedented” strategic shift designed to transform its army into a comprehensive modern force.

The report indicated that the four other branches of the PLA — the navy, air force, rocket force and strategic support force, which is responsible for areas such as cyberwarfare — together make up more than half of the Chinese military, overtaking the army, which has traditionally been the dominant unit of the PLA, the South China Morning Post reported.

Shanghai-based military analyst Ni Lexiong was quoted by the newspaper as saying that the overhaul marked a significant strategic shift from having a homeland-based defensive force to one with the capacity to allow Beijing to flex its muscles beyond its national borders and to protect its interests overseas.

“He explained that modern warfare puts a greater emphasis on superiority in areas such as the air, space and cyberspace — further reducing the importance of the ground force,” the report said.

India’s military has been in the process of operationalising cyber and space commands for several years now. It also lags behind in incorporating future weapons while China and other countries such as US and Russia are way ahead.
