Porki dawn.com has accepted that ATGMs were used today. As far as I know, this was their first admission of getting flattened by ATGMs.

Something is not adding up . the unusual number of dead paki soldiers and the non stop escalation for almost a week from our side . why are we still escalating using arty and ATGMs if they are beaten badly ??? unless we are trying to avenge for pulwama every day of this year
To project power and show their aukath...
At this time when pakis are desperate to sow civil unrest in Kashmir valley IA is projecting power by continuosly pounding them with ATGM and arty... Bullying and breaking the morale of pakis is necessary also we don't want to escalate and become aggressor in international community... If Pak can't sustain let them escalate to WAR we will give em bloody nose

some unconfirmed news updates

We have made the opposing side vacate more points along Uri-Tangdhar and now operations are ongoing along Poonch-Mendhar to 'modify' the 'tactical' situation so that we can better dominate the area. Reports of few local unit level incursions into POJ&K to 'incentivize' vacation of forward posts by Pakistan Army, are being received. Details not clear, sorry.

Casualties on Pakistani side are reported to have been heavy, a spike in official reporting will be seen in next week, seeing the trend. Own casualties are reportedly 1 KIA plus couple lightly wounded with at least one seriously injured. Not sure about the exact figures, but relatively light keeping in mind the magnitude and scope of operations. Ingress were well executed and exfil was always to be a hot issue.

...Seems they want to bypass Hajipir and than circle it from behind with better ground positions.

... From the axis which you posted, it becomes very clear that they want to push the LOC further west while the Hajipir bulge stays. Once we make it deeper, we can cut it off completely. Most likely moving forward on Uri-Tangdhar and Poonch-Mendhar axis will force Pakistan to vacate that area on their own.

...Please see the map below. The arrows show the thrust axis as stated by you. The arrows around HAJIPIR show what happens to that area if we advance along Uri-Tangdhar and Poonch-Mendhar. It cuts out all the bulges which are along the LOC and after that the hills are at lower elevation. This will help us dominate the entire front right upto the actual old border of J&K state which used to overlook Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

my personal opinion is ... IA taking small steps towards this direction .. nothing will happen overnight .. it will take time
Hopefully I will see the endgame in the next 10 years:india2:

Would be unwise to turn to Pakistan as strategic partner, says US expert

But democratic India, which will soon surpass China as the world's most populous country and will boast the world's fifth-largest economy, is a good long-term bet, he added.
"Instead of embracing fantasy, the US should continue to keep a modest number of troops in Afghanistan to ensure the government survives and the country does not again become a terrorist haven.

"What is required is an endurance strategy, not an exit strategy, based on local conditions, not political calendars. As has long been the case, south Asia is at best a region to be managed, not a problem to be solved," he said.

One man army @NeXoft007

Pak Army soldier Hav. Sajawal Mumtaz killed at Balochistan border on 2nd August. Only his families & neighbors knows about his death coz ISPR Ghafoora Mia kept it hidden from 20 Crore Pakistanis!

We need to assist this guy to increase his reach , this guy deserves followers more than Baba Banaras

They have not built thousands of bunkers for civilians, like us...
I know, there's only few small, dark, tiny community bunkers at PoK side of LoC where families run to hide when shelling starts. It becomes so much crowded that teenage boys take advantage there in the darkness by fondling the breasts and rubbing their dicks on the butts of neighborhood girls.

Girls have no choice but to keep silent inside those dark bunkers.
