There was company that was niche and boutique offered certain services. It would try and pack a punch above its weight. It had and also recently sparred and battled with its more larger market player. That market player was in fact alumnus of its ceo. There was a connection. The boutique firm decided to battle the larger market player on a bigger more prestigious project of dominating and controlling a regional market. It went to investors and sought funds and more. It got a good round of response and buoyed rented some expensive office space and printers and accessories.
The larger market player saw.
Years latter the boutique market player and its management fighting for a tender with the larger market player.
The boutique market player sensed it would win and had made calculated moves by trying to sabotage and out wit the larger market player.
At the time of opening the tender bid the boutique market player announced and made huge noise.
Bid opened and they lost.
The effect - all and many of the more intellectual and reasonable boutique market player employees wondered - how the bigger market player still won.
Each and everyone of them now became enamoured by the large market player. Since the win was on a much higher plain of thought and of much better planning and execution.
The boutique firm realised it went all guns blazing for the tender win and now in debt and unable to survive. The more intellectual reasonable employees been told the same much earlier.
The boutique firm went shopping for investment and only get offered convertible debt schemes at a extremely high level of return of investment.
The boutique firm went looking for a rouge employee(s) of other medium and large firms especially with patents.
Right before agreeing to sign and employ thus rogue employee(s) they are told:
They have a pre-contract and non disclosure agreement with the larger market player.
There are some firms in the world that behave and plan in generations. When they win they don’t talk about it. When they don’t win they introspection - but they return to win the war. They leverage and focus on all areas not only one single. They make the market better.
For the boutique firm: it’s not intentional the larger firm could have finished them much earlier - but the larger firm plays on a much different scale.
It’s the boutique firm more intellectual and reasonable employees- they know they are useful and will be useful to the larger market player.
Winding up process takes time. No shame. There are fast ways to wind up also. The better employees wants to work with the larger market player. The CEO ... is offered a project by the larger market player.

India hits back: 3 Pak army men killed, 2 hurt; 5 posts decimated
JAMMU, Sept 2: In view of continued ceasefire violations by the Pakistan army, the Indian troops launched major counter attack targeting Pakistan’s forward posts which were raining mortars and firing on civilian areas at Shahpur and Sabjian sectors of Poonch, killing three enemy troops and injuring two others and damaging their at least five forward posts, which were being used for gathering militants to push them into the Indian territory.
