Its clear that porks were not prepared at all military wise ,while India has done the home work,
Pakistanis are only preparing and getting ready now,
So, why didn't we attack them while they weren't prepared ?
with each passing day they get more time for planning.

Only reason I can think of is because they wanna make sure there's no civil unrest in Kashmir , otherwise it could have been difficult to manage both internal and external unrest without good amount of bloodshed among kashmiri jehadi populace and would gave resulted in massive propoganda .

It's economic warfare. If porky are seriously preparing rather than just bluffing then they will have to seriously spend a whole lot of money.

Look at our recent purchase of war ammunition they ran into billions. It's even more costly for Pakistan since they manufacture nothing of significance.

Even preparing for a 5-7 days war can destroy paki economy. We'll see what happens .

I think they will try some kind of surprise attack and exaggerate anything and everything to please their audience. They might try to cross LOC and fire some bombs and say we captured Kashmir but let it go cause USA said so. Thats the level of propaganda that they can get away with. This is precisely why India should consider at least 2 sqns of Gripen NG as a fleet-filler: 2/3rd the price of a Rafale and fully compatible with Meteor.

That would be a possibility if the NG was available. At the moment it still only exists as 4 test frames. No production model built and systems development is only 50% complete

I think if we firm up now, we can have first delivery by 2026-27, by which time our entire Bison sqn strength will be depleted. A Gripen NG + Meteor would be a force-multiplier because they can build strike packages consisting of Rafales and Gripens the way pakis build theirs with Falcons and Blunders. Even a single Gripen in a package mostly made up of Sukhois and MiGs would disrupt them.

If we can mate russian missile on a western platform like M2K then the reverse is true. For IR missiles its relatively less complex. So Amraams will be standardized. Radar guided is the challenge - will have to wait n watch. I will not rubbish the report.

lets not discuss Tejas Gripen here. If we are going to see some real actions between 2019 to 2024 then we need to fight what ever is IN HAND and not in the bushes.
