This is why it is important to be present in conflict zones so we stay ahead on strategies and what not....there were daily drone attacks in Syria and Iraq but we have no interest (open sources atleast) to study and evaluate or atleast in white paper forms to push for a strategy before things occur....this is fundamental lacking in our system whether its academic or professional institutions

Smash 2000 is not full proof solution for anti drone warfare what will a soldier do if a swarm of 100 drone comes towards him and he has single SMAH 2000 system.
SMASH 2000 system is useful where their is clear sky (eg .sea )where even small drone can be seen in naked eyes in daylight.
Soft kill system are more useful since they can disrupt whole drone swarms in a single blow.
Real problem with drones is detection. Only US and Russia has this kind of system to detect this types of small drone in most effective manner. Even Israel also this.
