It will effectively kill Pak's demands for Kashmir. It will also tell China that we are itching to do something.

Mostly it will help Delhi do elections and plant usable characters. Currently the way constituencies are setup, only anti delhi forces can come to power.

Also if we see restoration of statehood (unlikely) it will mean govt. is interested in pushing ahead with the peace talks.

If we see further break ups and changes(likely) it will Delhi has decided that Pakistan cannot be trusted the peace process is to be discarded.

Porki are saying South kashmir will be merged in jammu and North kashmir in Ladakh.
So on official paper their will no territory named as kashmir (for which Pakistan is fighting for 70 years) . Whole Pakistan propaganda will be derailed as their is no such territory that is kashmir in India that porkis are saying they will liberate it.
This is propaganda from Pakistan side since they want to internalize kashmir issue once again and want some oic countries to do some meeting on kashmir issue.
Most of Indian Army mobilisation is done considering 2 front war . Pla aggression is increased and porki have also mobilized their army in pok region

Delhi plans to reform the seat distribution to have a fighting chance for a pro Delhi majority govt. Thats their first target. Once they know they can come to power statehood will come back. But if they go this route the peace process will sink since the changes made will not be digestible to Pak
