Pakistan have openly opened a military front against Afghanistan national army which is one of the greatest ally of Americans.

Pakistan is also following and supporting Chinese with greater entrust and it can happen to the point were Americans feel little threatened about that.

The constant financial and diplomatic drip of Pakistan from rich Arab is also drying out.

Maybe America's feel that their influence on Pakistan is on last leg and want to break this Chinese Pakistani nexus and put Pakistan under the foot to rise in the books of india.
