Brother their are 500-600 personnel in an SF battalion let alone an Infantry one which has 650-800 plus support arms. Btw the report is misleading, their are 2 sniper with snipers rifle(not SVDs) and a good number of marksmen with DMR(SVDs)!

That makes more sense! I wasn't sure how many soldiers on average are in Indian battalions that work as line units/get engaged in combat so I just threw out a generic number of 500.

The horrifying thought of these pigs using NVGs and causing havoc to our poorly equipped troops, just like those entire paki troops being finished off last year during their base attack sends shivers.... hope there is at least 1 person keeping watch of this. these days thermals/optics are being mass produced by aliexpress companies
