These laws are tools to harass minorities and settle personal conflicts.

Infiltration attempts at The International Border

As per the report of Security Forces/Ministry of Home Affairs, the number of infiltration cases and number of infiltrators who were killed and apprehended during 2021 (upto 30.06.2021) are as under:-

In addition, 11 illegal infiltrators along Indo-Nepal Border have been apprehended in this year (upto 30.06.2021). No cases of infiltration have been reported at Indo-China Border. At the Indo-Myanmar Border, post military coup which came into effect from 01.02.2021, 8486 Myanmar nationals/refugees crossed over into India, out of which 5796 were pushed back and 2690 are still in India.

Infiltrators apprehended by the Border Guarding Forces are handed over to the concerned State Police.

This information was given by Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Ajay Bhatt in a written reply to Dr Sasmit Patra in Rajya Sabha today.

Offensive defence: Army to ready its first set of new battle groups by September end


NEW DELHI: The Indian Army is giving the final touch to the Integrated Battle Groups (IBGs), the ambitious combat formation aimed at making the force more lethal and suitable to fight a modern war with the support of technology.


The IBGs are agile, brigade-sized, and self-sufficient combat formations. In case of hostilities, they can swiftly strike against the enemies. Every IBG will be tailor-made and will be based on the three Ts -- Threat, Terrain, and Task.


A source said on Monday, "The officials led by the military operations met on Monday to finalise the formation of the Integrated Battle Groups with officials of other wings in presence."

An independent Baluchistan would be very nice. And it's good to see gains made by the Baluchis toward their goal. Violence in combat is a no-brainer. But any gratuitous cruelty is unnecessary.
