tickets were already sold out!!i was watching NDTV and as per them only match between india and england is moved..
this is gonna create a lot of mess if tickets are already sold out
CricinfoIt is not yet known whether the people who bought tickets to the fixture will get refunds.
Well, I don't think we need to be unduly worried. The saving grace is that there are several stadiums completely ready in other cities. So it's just a matter of shifting the venue to another city, like they have done. In the CWG there was no scope of change, since there were no alternate venues. There was just one chance. We have hosted very successful world cups in the past, as far back as 1996, so we can breathe easy, don't worry.Mate! it does matters.. If people are making mistake over international commitments and that's obvious a shame for the nation!!
Seriously you have no clue on indian cricket. Indian cricket infrastructure is world class. India has organized big tournaments including world championship not too long ago.Probelm is that all big names of BCCI are themselves big businessman or politicians. They give big favours to to there own contracter or builders which are not capable of doing things of int level or any level. Big money in Indian cricket does not mean big and international level infrastructure.

Don't criticise for the sake of it without having any facts in hand. The success of IPL could not have come about without world class facilities.
Cricketing facilities are top class. Stadiums are being upgraded. The members stand is always good. In india you had to keep ticket prices low as well and therefore it resulted in neglected sections in the stadium. But overall these days all stadiums are good.Well i don't agree with you. If BCCI has so much of money why don't they make world class stadiums. Iam afraid if u campare with stadiums in UK and Australia they are quite inferior.
Well i don't agree with you . lets see how stadium looks in this world cup...Cricketing facilities are top class. Stadiums are being upgraded. The members stand is always good. Can someone post the fixtures? I can't get a suitable one. Thanks!
mate got to agree with blackwater, the stadiums in our country including the cricketing ones are far from being termed world class. the only country which truly has world class cricket stadiums is australia, with sa having 1-2 good stadiums. in india the only two stadiums that can be termed close to world class are dy patil cricket stadium, mumbai and jawaharlal nehru stadium, delhi rest have a lot of catching up to do though from what i have seen of eden gardens cricket stadium and the chinnai cricket stadium so far, one would like to believe the two would come close to or better dy patil and jn stadiums.Cricketing facilities are top class.
