The proposed land swap deal with Bangladesh is likely to be finalised during Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's three-day trip to Dhaka from Tuesday.

Assam shares a 272-km-long long border with Bangladesh, which is in adverse possession of 665 acres of the state's land - 160 acres in the western Dhubri district and 505 acres in the southern Karimganj district.
