Russia is a sad spectacle. Its destiny is with Europe and jews. Eurpeans, jews and Russians together are the most intelligent people on earth. At least in material sphere. Chinese will only steal Russian tech. Under CCP, China is fit to be with muslims only- lying stealing and underhand behaviour is common to both.

Which people are referred as commies in above comment?
Who let the Chinese get the economic card in past.
I am not against the government. All that I was saying was that the way Indian and Chinese officials are making comments at the moment, it seems to suggest that the two nations won't be be solving any dispute through dialogue.
Not really,
China's actions weren't preventing halt of India's interests earlier either. Comments? More assertive are you, more assertive become your adversaries.
It's mere a war of words.
And if you seriously think that we were solving any type of dispute before these comments, you are being ignorant!;)

When BJP js deliberately conducting events in Arunachal, INC even halted regular events to appease their masters.

There is no deliberate ignorance. I hope it's mere war of words as you say.

Chinkies getting hot, Announces new names for 6 places in Arunachal Pradesh

China has announced its own names for 6 places in Arunachal Pradesh

Beijing: China has announced its own names for six places in Arunachal Pradesh in what appears to be retaliation to Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama visiting the state recently.

The Chinese state media says the unilateral move is aimed at "reaffirming" China's claim over the state. China claims the state as 'South Tibet', while India says Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India and is inseparable from the country.

"China's Ministry of Civil Affairs announced on April 14 that it had standardised in Chinese characters, Tibetan and Roman alphabet the names of six places in 'South Tibet'...," state-run Global Times reported today.

The names announced by China are Wo'gyainling, Mila Ri, Qoid ngarbo Ri, Mainquka, B mo La and Namkapub Ri.

China's move comes just days after the Dalai Lama's visit to Arunachal Pradesh, his seventh since he fled Tibet and trekked through the Himalayas to enter India through Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.

As the 81-year-old Tibetan spiritual leader toured Arunachal Pradesh, China warned India that it will take "necessary measures to defend its territorial sovereignty and interests." China considers the Dalai Lama a "dangerous separatist" who wants to free Tibet from China.

Indian officials dismissed China's criticism, accusing it of creating "an artificial controversy" over the visit of the Dalai Lama, who has a devoted following in the state.

In a comment that infuriated Beijing further, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu said his state shares a border with "Tibet and not China."

Earlier this month Junior Home Minister Kiren Rijiju, who is also from the state, said, "Arunachal Pradesh is an inseparable part of India, and China should not object to his (the Dalai Lama) visit and interfere in India's internal affairs."

China has repeatedly warned that by enabling the Dalai Lama's trip, New Delhi has "severely damaged China's interests and China-India relations."

On the names announced by Beijing, Guo Kefan, a research fellow at the Tibet Academy of Social Sciences, was quoted in the Chinese media as claiming: "These names have existed since ancient times, but had never been standardised before. Therefore, announcing the names is like a remediation."

Maybe we can retaliate by declaring Tibet as occupied and give new Indian names to mainland Chinese territories.

Too much expectations !

How about reaffirming our claim on our occupied territories Aksai Chin and Sakshgam valley apart from illegal CPEC on PoK.

Dalai lama should intervene and tell that, arunachal Pradesh is integral part of India. He is the Only guy who's words hold more water. But there has to be a counter to silence china diplomatically too.

We should allow free speech to Dalai Lama and peaceful Tibetans living in India which we don't under Chinese pressure.

Dalai Lama does not have issues with Arunachal Pradesh being part of India or China or for that matter even Tibet itself. His main goal to have autonomy for Tibetan Buddhists so that they can preserve their culture and heritage. Dalai Lama wants India-China to make union.

I dont know why cant we just keep quiet about it and build our military capabilities on all fronts instead of locking horns with the dragon which will not end well for us. Is there any predator who has hunted by coming out in the open and exposing himself. These Hindutva leaders are only fit to be in cowsheds, we need serious people in charge of policy making in India.

China has no right to rename our cities, Arunachal a part of India: Govt takes firm stand
A day after China changed the names of six Indian cities in Arunachal Pradesh on its official map, Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu said doing so would not affect India. China’s move is an apparent retaliation against the Dalai Lama’s visit last week to India’s easternmost state, which Beijing disputes as part of its territory.

INDIA Updated: Apr 21, 2017 00:55 IST

  • “Every inch of Arunachal Pradesh belongs to India ... let them rename. How does it matter? It’s like you renaming your neighbour. It does not change his name,” Naidu said in a tit-for-tat response to Beijing’s symbolic snub.

Besides, his comments suggest India’s hardened stand against the provocative Chinese action, which might affect bilateral relations between the two Asian giants. India shares more than $66 billion in annual trade with China but has a long-running border dispute and fought a brief war in 1962.

Foreign ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay reaffirmed that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India.

“Renaming or inventing names of states of your neighbour do not make illegal occupation as legal,” he said.

When asked if India has taken up the matter with China, he said the Chinese government has not communicated anything officially so far and the ministry has seen only reports on the development.

China announced on Tuesday that it has standardised official names for six places in the northeastern state and termed the move as “legitimate action”.

Beijing had lodged protests with India over the Dalai Lama’s visit to the frontier state.

Experts said China’s move is aimed at reaffirming Beijing’s “territorial sovereignty” to the region.

Beijing says Arunachal Pradesh is part of South Tibet with close Buddhist links. Official Chinese maps show the state as part of South Tibet.

How the hell is this tit-for-tat? To call it tit-for-tat, we are supposed to rename their territory and use the new names to refer to them. If it doesn't matter, it should be easy to reciprocate. We can't do anything. Truth it is.

I would love to see diverting all the possible imports from China to other as in countries. At least to reduce the trade deficiency or improve other asian countries economy so that they will be pleased and support us in Asia. This might silence the arrogancy.

Truth is that India will ignore all Chinese demands now and China sympathizers won't be liking it.
Come on, what you got from feigning friendship in past?
You really after me, dude. The last line is spoken in frustration.

I was just suggesting a tit-for-tat not friendship. Not sure who has got sympathy for China in India.

No question that there is lots of power play between India and China but today China is superpower. China is beating India at every front. This point everything is hopeless. We Indians should give up to superpower China and accept Chinese rule.
Yaa, you are right China is such a crying arse, showing its imperial erected monkeybone. A hard whack on both will bring the erection down.

What happened? Why running away from hard truth? Is there anyone on this forum that can prove me wrong based on hard facts? Stop your slender and abuse tell me how I was wrong on China?
You don't reply to a single question of mine. You are not giving any suggestions to explain how should India overcome it's shortcoming from your point of view while you go on lecturing Pak superiority and Chinese superpower even though Chinese themselves never make such claims. Proves that you are spammer. How come a Patriotic Proud Indian only explaining that everyone is better than them but does not suggest how to make India stronger.

@Mods need to ban the troll.

Beijing won't make concessions to India in border dispute: Chinese expert

BEIJING: Renaming of six places by China in Arunachal Pradesh was not in retaliation for the Dalai Lama's visit to the state, but a way to convey Beijing's resoluteness in not making any concessions to New Delhi in border talks, a Chinese expert has said.

Long Xingchun, Director at the Centre for Indian Studies at China West Normal University, said Beijing was magnanimous in not retaliating against New Delhi's provocations by arranging the Tibetan spiritual leader's repeated visits to Arunachal Pradesh.

He also said some "radical" Indians were naive in thinking that New Delhi could out-do Beijing in armed clashes.

In fact, Long said, India, which had more advantages in the 1962 war with China, should learn from its "erroneous strategic judgements".

"Indian media outlets believe the move (renaming of six towns in Arunachal Pradesh) is China's revenge against the 14th Dalai Lama's visit to the disputed region on the China-India border. The standardisation of names demonstrates China is less likely to make concessions in border negotiations with India." Long wrote in the state-run Global Times daily.

"New Delhi has arranged the Dalai Lama to visit the disputed area several times, attempting to strengthen control over South Tibet. Beijing, for the sake of friendly ties with New Delhi, only lodged diplomatic representations rather than taking retaliatory measures against India's provocations."

Beijing calls the spiritual leader as a secessionist and claims Arunachal Pradesh as South Tibet.

China and India fought a brief war in 1962 over the region in which the latter was defeated.

"Border disputes are core conflicts between Beijing and New Delhi. The 1962 Sino-Indian border clashes turned the friendly bilateral relationship into a confrontation."

"Since the mechanism of the Special Representatives' Meeting for the China-India Boundary Question was established in 2003, China and India have held 19 rounds of border talks. Both sides have kept border disputes under control and prevented them from impacting their diplomatic bilateral ties.

"The two countries should exercise restraint on border disputes so as to maintain peace and tranquility, and in the meantime, create favourable conditions for negotiations."

"Some radical Indians believe India's military strength has seen rapid growth and are eager to triumph over China in potential armed clashes. In fact, India had more advantages in 1962, and it should learn from its erroneous strategic judgments and carefully evaluate the current international situation." Long added.

Long admitted the issues of India's clamouring for a berth in the Nuclear Suppliers Group and branding Pakistani militant Masood Azhar as an international terrorist were two "friction points" between New Delhi and Beijing.

Last year, China rejected New Delhi's application to enter the elite Nuclear Suppliers Group and put a technical hold on its resolution against Azhar, who India calls a chief plotter of attack on its army base.

"The two events have triggered anti-China protests in India. The Indian government allowed and even encouraged its public to boycott Chinese goods, and has arranged the Dalai Lama's visit to South Tibet as a reprisal against Beijing."

"In fact, the Chinese government attaches great importance to its relationship with India. Beijing wants to work together with New Delhi to keep the conflicts under control, stabilise the bilateral relations, enhance economic cooperation and encourage more Chinese enterprises to invest in India."

"These are beneficial to Modi's 'Made in India' ambition and the country's economic development," Long added.
