If I might remind the folks here about the Sino-Vietnamese war.
1. China considered Vietnam a partner, remember these words, "partner". Chinese ministers keep this rhetoric alive, considering India an important "partner". But at what magnitude of partnership? For Vietnam it was a "small" partner.
2. Nature of attack was 3 pronged, just like its building capability for a three pronged attack at three strategic areas of Indian LAC.
3. 3 fronts, I'd not be surprised if there were 5 fronts pulled up.
4. Sino-Vietnam war was short, Chinese PLAGF doctrine till now as been seen is to attack, if threat of other power enters to support, chicken out. They did us in 1962, but couldn't in 1967.
5. Propaganda was there always throw away weapon, but Vietnam as a geography is mainly jungle. Jungle is something they are going to see in AP.
Considering our sheer Army size, ground attacks will be unfruitful for them. Considering our air war experience even with low squadron figures, we can still beat the shit out of them.
