BRICS, SCO etc..Russia has some strategic issues at stake.
Even Russia is saying they wont interfere.. meaning..its just a gesture from the side of Russia when india and the backstabbing china is in some grouping like BRICS, SCO etc

I guess it should be fine with GoI, GoI has not sought mediation anyways.
Just like India prefers not to take sides on some global issues, In return GoI should not expect others to take sides.
More over Russia-China trade has reached pre-covid levels recently, Every country has their compulsions.

I can say I have been part of more brutalal fight than this in engineering college in TN. Spent 1 week on bedrest and had to meet doctor twice to check if there is anything wrong with my heart after that beating I received.
