We certainly lived on another planet.. But there are encouraging signs that we have fiinally returned to earth.. Every new PM thinks he can come to an agreement with China.. but, it never works out.. be it Rajiv Gandhi, Narsimha Rao, Vajpayee or Modi..

That is not quite fair, since 2014 lot of border states were connected via better infrastructure and article 370 to get rid of seperatism......it takes time and since current govt is doing something China made a move but ended up being a miscalculation so far weakening them in more than one dimension.

Like I said in an earlier post, progress is relative. The only metric that should matter to India in terms of defense preparedness is progress relative to China. Is the overall capability gap static, growing or diminishing.
