Using american equipment for offensive operations always carries risks of sanctions.. If you ask me, India should stick to US transport planes, tankers, or surveillance platforms.. and avoid American fighters..

At some point in time we have to start consolidating our opinions on why murica is considered a untrustworthy partner. The reasons should be consolidated to make it easier for muricans to understand.


From my point of view the list goes like this:

- 7th fleet during bangladesh war
- Justice not delivered for Bhopal gas tragedy
- highly biased commentary from like the wapo NYt , which are far removed from ground reality
- constant religious targeting of majority religion in India which happens to be a minority in rest of the world
- the actions and discourse of murican NGO’s suggest that they want to exterminate Hindus and eliminate Hinduism from face of the earth.
- Non recognition of the pains being taken Indians to sustain the democratic processes, by murican discourse.
- sheer ignorance about today’s India in general, in murican discourse.
- atrocities against hindus in India get a blind eye from murican discourse, and the reverse scenario gets full attention in murican discourse, which makes majority of people deeply suspicious of murica’s intentions towards India.

And the murican “india experts” including coconuts have been shamelessly downplaying these concerns, most times brazenly denying that these are legitimate concerns, which makes Indian crowd distrust murica even more.

I am sure gyani people can expand this list a bit further.

With so many open points, Indian citizens will continue to have distrust in murican foreign policy towards India.

America is the most untrust worthy, they will help you for few years and will then backstab you, leasing their platforms is still better than buying. If and only if USA guarantees that under any circumstances there will be no sanctions on India then IAF can consider F-15EX.
