It only indicates that we do not have the required pool of talent. We have a few bright minds but number is not there. One thing I noticed is that US DoD has recourse to private players such as Dell etc
I hope our private players like Infosys etc have the know how with respect to cryptography or cyber security. Personally my knowledge in these field is zero.
There's nothing like lack of bright minds rather it's called
Brain Drain. New kids are becoming less and less patriots and more for earning quick and more cash. Working for NTRO, MI takes a lot of time also it's not definite that you'll surely get a job there. A new person working as Junior security analyst abroad would earn 3-4 times more than you'll get here.
You are paid very "okayish" here but it's the sense of nationalism that binds us
Also to mention private companies works on cash. US DoD has more budget than the Indian agencies so they are
able to hire private companies for security operations.
