Just like 'Nam. They won the land but did not win the war.

They did not win either. The side objective of TAPI PIPELINE was also not met.

It is irrelevant. Taiwan is now a strategic US interest due to its semiconductor manufacturing. Corp. America will lobby for war.

But surely, legalities are not irrelevant. Does China have a legal right to "invade" Taiwan? Does the USA have a legal obligation or even a legal right to defend it?
We see the same thing on the India-China border. The dispute centers around perceived legalities. China trying to claim x or y based on certain things. (right?)

I don’t buy this taliban peace deal narrative they are putting out for public consumption. Taliban are theologically ordained to take control over entire Afghanistan including parts of Pakistan and implement sharia law, as long they exist as a group they will do anything to achieve that goal.

If Chinese media is able to hide Soch news , then it will be a great the demotivation for the suicide bombers. It should be made sure that such news gets maximum publicity. China needs a test of their own doing. They should not and cannot be allowed to escape from such embracing event. Jin jiang is a fertile ground. If it is exploited properly, significant damage on the China can be inflicted without proportional Collateral Damage. This tool should be used as a one of the tool to fight with China in the multipronged approach which includes economic, diplomatic and military measure.

Yes they want ladakh, plain and simple.
They want to capture one mountain side at a time.
India and China are fighting for 3 mountains to be precise.
And that to ,only right to send patrol parties in these areas.
Mao tse tsung had said that , ladakh nepal , sikkim , Bhutan and arunachal pradesh are five fingers of China.
Of which ladakh, sikkim and arunachal are part of india.
Rest nepal and Bhutan are two countries.

I differ with this analysis,mine analysis says repeat of vietnam fiasco,the world give too much weight to them.

and yet CCP is gonna build another island within Philippines EEZ, within a few years, in all probability without a shot being fired.

The Chinese tried building an artificial island on Scarborough shoal during the Obama administration, but stopped when US warned them.. They will try again soon, as they consider themselves to be stronger now.. The US can deter them if it wants to.. but will it do so, is another question.. As seen in Galwan and Doklam, the Chinese can be deterred.. but it's not cost free.. and am not sure US is willing to pay it.. Of course Philippines is not in a position to do anything here..

How to hit them , what should be our objectives?
Capture of akshi chin ? Not possible for China will still sorround us from north and east . Aksai chin is huge area
China in ladakh is no pushover either , that's why we are talking with them for n number of tea and biscuit peace talks.
India requires China too, for many raw materials etc they still supply to us .
India does not need to recognise taiwan for there is no need to take unnecessary trouble.
Anyway, india should keep its avenues open for russia and iran too.
If usa says, iranis are eveil ,this means they are eveil for them not for us.
