It wasn't like this inception
Pakshitanis were predicted to be one of the best countries to live in with better growth indicators than us
India and China all throughout the 50s 60s were poor as fuk, with half of population under the poverty line

It's a curse they have brought upon themselves
they built their country on loan money, they tend to overdo things for showing off. Build big better than others whether it is needed or not. Even today some of them claim that avg. paxtani have more wealth /posseiohn than us ? No prodcutivity yet possesion , how ? all that habit of loan money since 1958. Bangladeshi are a little less but nevertheless have the same habit. Look how they fudge data just to look good. Their inferiority complex.

Bangladesh launched locally developed submarine, the most advanced in South Asia. :cool1:

Can carry 50 tonnes of illegally dredged river sand, unlike Indian low-tech submarines which can't.

The only problem is it can't surface after submerging. :pound:

What Arihant class? We should import this.
I don't get why the import lobby doesn't lobby about this class.
Maybe if stay on their good books, we might get submersible aircraft carrier too. :troll: :troll:

After seeing this, I feel that Bangladeshis can survive without Bilal's floating houses in case their land sinks.

One day these kanglus say India is not letting them grow, other day they say kangladesh is out of Indian "sphere"
Chaddi banyan money has gotten into head.
All machinery and tech might be Japanese or European. Raw material imported. Profit margins are because of their dirt cheap slave labour. Wait for few more decades and see what global warming will do to these rakibuls

One way to gauge the difference in living standards between the two countries, visit the Umngot river in Dawki, Meghalaya. It has an unfenced stretch of border with Bangladesh. The river marks the border between the two countries. The Indian side is always packed with tourists looking to explore the river, while the Bangladeshi side remains full of hawkers who wade into the river to sell their wares to Indian tourists. The "prosperous" Bangladeshi town of Sylhet isn't too far from that location.

They never built anything on loans, in fact never built anything. They always had only primary and proto-industrial sectors like Bangladesh whose low base effect gave them temporary growth. Neither of Pak or BD ever bothered to diversify economic portfolio.
Every country transits from low end to high end, those who don't get stagnated.
Given that Bangladesh suffers same drawbacks even at low TFR than Pak. It's financial problems will be bigger. Though, it will be in a middle income trap and not a low income trap like Pak given it has better scores in factors of international relations, spending on infrastructure instead of military and terrorism, finally FATF sanctions.

@gslv markIII bangu ultra modern factories and Indians using old tech factories :pound: :pound: :pound:.
You can't really fault him. An effing glass factory is some kind of ''advanced technology'' for someone from a primitive pre-industrial country like Bangladesh.

It's not like most Indians would give a flying duck about a glass factory, let alone consider it as something to brag about.

BTW talking about glass the largest manufacturer in India is Saint-Gobain. I only know because these folks supply to auto industry.

French glassmaker Saint Gobain today opened its third float glass manufacturing plant at the World Glass Complex, Sriperumbudur, Chennai. The plant was built at a cost of Rs 1200 crore and will cater to both domestic and international markets. With this, the company's cumulative investment in the Glass Complex at Sriperumbudur has crossed Rs 3,000 crore, the single largest investment destination of Saint Gobain globally. Since its entry into India in 1996, the company has invested about Rs 7,500 crore.

This is their plant in Sriperumbudur, I guess Billu would faint seeing an industrial complex so big.
