Purbachal is supposed to be their Central Business District(CBD) with 100+ floor skyscrapers which will be unlike other parts of Dhaka where super tall skyscrapers are absent. Judging by the official animation, it seems they are following East Asian Model of creating planned CBD.

Lmao, anyone who believes that Bongoland would have a Shenzen- esque skyline is smoking something he shouldn't be.

Kangluoids doesn't even have enough large corporates require much office space in the first place.

Khulna, Rajshahi are small cities around a million people each. they look quite OK for their size. Not that dense like Dhaka or Chittagong. These are divisional cities perform regional roles

Still residential areas should not be that dense. Dhaka is getting a new planned administrative district where govt. buildings are being relocated. This are looks good with wide roads and modern buildings. Metrorail also being build there.

My friends firm has won several consulting contracts in Purbachal project both Roadways and Residential infra.
Don't worry the project will come along just fine.

The biggest fuck up in Purbancal new town is the entry of small builders who are most likely just local politicians and their relative.
Result is small ugly apartments have come up barely 5 to 6 floors.
But there is nothing that can be done thee are no large bidders to fill up the entire city.
The ones close to commercial areas are doing decentl. That's where all the large housing projects are.

Bhubaneshwar most likely. Except Bhubaneshwar is north to south stretching, this one is a full circle with nothing but residentials and a CBD that I'm not too bullish on.
