When the #British imprisoned #Indians or held them as detenus or internees, usually in cases where there were no charges & no trials (as when Savarkar was interned in Ratnagiri from 1924 to 1937), they paid a monthly allowance to them for 'loss of income' so they (in terms of food etc) and/or their families could maintain themselves. Govt statue allowed them to have money from the public purse for this purpose. When the Raj, in the early 1930s, decided to drastically cut these allowances, Subhas Chandra Bose
wrote from Europe (where he stayed for 3 yrs from 1933 to 1936) protesting against the cuts & discussing the issue. Here's his first letter which was published in The Guardian on 4 April 1933.

The letter led to much debate & replies, in the course of which names of those getting allowances, those still not getting allowances and the merits/demerits of the issue were discussed in detail. Bose himself provided a lot of details, as can be seen here in another letter he wrote to the paper.

There were also some Britishers who supported his case & the case of #Indian prisoners, their families & their dependents during this debate, as this letter reveals. Neither Savarkar nor Gandhi nor Bose nor Bose's brother were 'traitors'.

@hit&run @Indx TechStyle I tell you in this post about Charkha fraud and freedom.

BHARAT's freedom struggle never began with any concept of non violence. Remember 1857 and even before that there were many uprisings.

It was only in 1915ad that Mkgandhi decided to insert non violence. That also after getting relieved from the brits service as sergeant major. Not forget sending millions of Indians to get slaughtered in ww1 so much for non violence.

Then finally from 1916ad onward to 1930ad many of such Charkha infested satyagraha were organised by Gandhi in that some of them were failed and some of them were bit successful.

But successful how? Most notable point is in that duration none these satyagraha's brought freedom to nor dominion status.

Infact after 1931ad no huge uprising was ever made. Infact the parallel govt signed by the brits crown. It was only in 1942ad then we saw some action. But even that action was far from success. We are now talking about quit India movement. The larp is quit India movement made brits run away. That is a LIE.

Background of Quit India Movement.

When the second world war broke out in 1939ad. Without consulting India Viceroy of India. Vermin linlithgow declared that India alongside with britian be at war with germany.

The congress other leaders were outraged and the congress ministries in the provinces resigned. See how that congress were running govt. and yet the larp of freedom movement contribution.

Then they said they would only support the war effort only if britian promise Independence to India. So the vermin linlithgow responded with a threat of his own. That if the congress did not support britain then will turn to moslems league.

The congress had to back down. But in the face of rising discontent in India, the Cripps Mission was sent to India.

The cripps mission which arrived in march 1942 was to discuss a change in India’s political status. Should note that cripps offered only Dominion status not full independence.

Both the Congress and moslems league rejected the proposal.

So congress and Gandhi Launched Quit India Movement. The day after a statement made by the viceroy of India. That is the linlithgow on behalf of brits Parliament on 8 August 1940ad.

What Really Happened to Quit India Movement?

The government cracked down immediately and by august 9 Gandhi & all other senior congress leaders had been jailed. Gandhi was taken agakhan palace in Pune and later to Yerwada jail.

The Movement Become Leader less.

mkgandhi.jpg

Without Proper Leadership the Movement turned into Violence in many Places.

Then the vermin british started brutal suppression of protests people were shot and lathicharged villages were burnt and backbreaking fines were imposed more then 62k were thrown into jails.

To be continued in next part.

Since the movement is ruthlessly crushed by brits. Gandhi pledged not to renew his campaign of civil disobedience during the war instead has promised to help the allied war effort. He envisaged nationalist govt of India under brits viceroy.

Gandhi.jpg

Quit India movement objective was to send brits out from India and to attain complete freedom.

If Quit India was successful then why Gandhi and Congress agreed for Dominion Staus in 1947 ?

Why Quit India movement was taken back and agreed to support allies in ww2?

If Gandhi wanted complete independence then why that much cry for union jack In Indian flag?

Gandhilullz.jpg

jokeofthegandhi.jpg

Former congress president P. Sitaramayya accepts that the congress was tempted by the proposals of cripps mission so the cwc was even willing accept partition before quit India .

traitorsofBHARATMATA.jpg

Clearly the quit India movement failed. Then what really got BHARAT independence will be discussed in concluding post.

The real facts.

Royal Indian navy Revolt - February 18, 1946ad
forfreedom.jpg

1200 airmen of the Royal Indian Air Force went on a procession in support of their strike, on Februray 20 1946ad Indian officers refused to fly out troops and the transport units. Refused to ferry brits troops to fight the naval ratings.

Unrest spread from the initial flashpoint in the Mumbai all way to Karachi and Calcutta involving 78 ships 20 shore establishments and 20,000 sailors The Indian royal navy mutiny was a crisis of brits by alarmed brits cabinet including that attlee clement, ordered the Royal Navy to put down the revolt.

Next day royal airforce threatened the defiant ships by flying a squadron of bombers low over Mumbai harbour. Here both the jinnah and Patel successfully persuaded to surender and not call for mutiny.
Gandhi criticised the strike but it shook brits.

Gandhijoke.jpg

The Royal Indian Navy mutineers chanted slogans of Jai Hind, demanded release of 11,000 Ina prisoners, while on streets.

forfreedom.jpg

This naval mutiny joined by the Air force, Army , Police and RSS cadre. Together convinced the brits that from now they could no longer hold on to India.

Now this incident shows why revolt started in Armed Forces and why they demanded to Release 11000 Subhash Chandra Bose's Ina soldiers captured during the various Ina campaigns.

Red fort trials led to sympathy for the Ina across the country especially in Armed Forces.

INA activities of Bose kicked the brits out of BHARAT.

Confirmation for Above All Statements :It's Not Gandhi... It's Bose .... Father of Indian Constitution's Statement in Interview Given to bbc in 1955 Who Participated in Freedom Movement of India with Gandhi.

Final nail to Quit India Movement joke.

The Letter Written By Justice PB Chakravartti to historian RC Majumdar. Chakravartti recalled his talk with the ex brits pm attlee. Now see this atlee admits that he set India free because of Subhas Bose.

1st Brahman regiment. It was banned twice because they took really good care of the brits. This regiment were exclusively known for constant revolts against company. Eventually this regiment were banned in 1942.

leftism of today is a ruse, another tool of powerful elites. on hindsight, it was always employed as a tool by elites for causing and controlling dissent. remember Marxism was introduced to indian prisoners by britishers themselves.
The british marxism(labour party) itself was revived to counter soviet communist influence among british workers after 1900's.

sequence of events and timeline is here somewhere in this website, lost the exact reference.

donno how much of research has happened on this, but what if British raj crackdown on HRA & HSRA has more to do with targeting soviet communist influence in Indian sub-continent that freedom movement itself.

if i am wrong, i am wrong. no issues.

Britain too was repaying ww2 debt till 2006.
It was a blessing in disguise for us. BRITS became bankrupt with WW2 and that paved way for our independence. At the same time, uncle Sam made sure these colonial powers would no longer have the power to draw vast manpower for their continental wars. Ek teer se 2-4 shikaar

So in effect Nazi Germany gave us Independence not Gandhi for it led to the largest volunteer battle hardened Indian Army that was in no mood to tolerate further British control over India after the war ended and Britain was simply too weak and bankrupted to mount any meaningful resistance.

In the end 'American Capitalism' won against the 'British Mercantilism'.
