Is it so difficult to understand? You said the chopper is a flying tank & not to compare it with the LCH yeah? I wasn't comparing..they are both in different categories..what I was implying was that the pilot area of the LCH is designed to take 12.7mm AP rounds while the MI-35 certainly can't & you are blowing the the trumpet about the Mi-35's ability as a tank.. I think the pilots who were there in Congo will have a completely different opinion don't you think?

Mi 35 dosent have an equivalent in this world. Just give me one comparison between the Mi 35 other than the Mi 24 Hind. You can search the internet your whole life and you cant find one.

brahmos it will have anti tank missile, A2A missile and machine gun to take out soft targets......... it is Light combat helicopter not anti infantry gunship which is more of dhruv weapon version.

i wonder what HAL means by the word " light " ,does HAL means "light " in weight or the helicopter is expected to engage only "light" targets and should see "light " combat and not "heavy " combat ?

i mean the helicopter look great but what i feel is that it needs more punch ,like more rocket pods and should be able to integrate NAG

Mi-35 is only in few numbers. We can have bulk orders for this one, in the tune of 200-300 between IA and IAF. We cannot have the cold start without a lot of Attack Helis.

After 2017 IA will be ready for Cold Start with this baby.

I still think they need a mixed bag of 20mm Giats for high altitude and 30mm Nexters for the deserts. 20mm just doesn't have punching power against IFVs at much range.
