If you like it then you can find some more here https://basicsaboutaerodynamicsandavionics.wordpress.com/ , i just found it recently and the website dont have alot of posts yet , but the quality is quite good to be fairOne hell of technical explanations..........
MKI does have systems which perform the same job as a MAWS. Albeit possibly only for Radar guided missiles. That would be the Malaysian Su-30MKM. It has everything MKI has, plus on top of that it has MAWS.
A retad of 1st order is a person who believes the Mirage 2000 is absolutely defenceless, useless and would get chewed up by an F-16...While a MiG-29B-12 would do so much better.Anyone who think that Mig 29 is inferior to F 16 just because it was shot down by F 16s is a retard of 1st order comparable to the low IQ wanabe pilots who flew that Mig 29 for their dictators.
A radar warning receiver and a MAWS are different things and are not interchangeable. Even with a good RWR in place (which can detect active seekers on missiles), a real MAWS which uses IR or UV sensors is necessary and indispensable in the modern air combat scenario.MKI does have systems which perform the same job as a MAWS. correct. I read up on it later on. Is it possible to key in MAWS with countermeasures so that they're dispensed automatically when an approaching missile is detected?A radar warning receiver and a MAWS are different things and are not interchangeable. Even with a good RWR in place (which can detect active seekers on missiles), a real MAWS which uses IR or UV sensors is necessary and indispensable in the modern air combat scenario.
An RWR is useless against IR guided missiles...plus do not forget the fact that even most radar-guided missiles turn on their seekers only at the terminal stage. RWR will not tell you anything till then, by then it'd be too late to do anything.
Is it any wonder then, that IAF wants to put real MAWS on MKI in the super sukhoi upgrade.
In the end it doesn't change the fact that MKM is better equipped than MKI at the moment.
