India's Tata Motors is now bigger than entire Porkistani economy. ..
Bloody if Tata Motors want $10 billion from world bank or any other bank it can get it easily and on better terms than the shit hole of country called Porkistan... :rofl:
One day people will stop conflating revenue with stock market cap. Tata groups revenue was $150 billion last FY, so half their GDP which is still amazing.

What a banana Islamic Republic of Pakistan is!

Elections are long over now but still no Govt in sight.

Along with:

* Nawaz Sharif and Co backtracking from forming govt.
* Zardari and Co don't wanna take posts in the next govt.
* PTI backed candidates are still in a fear of being poached.

Looks like Army will again install a "Technocrat" govt.
I am all for Kakar to continue as PM until Imran checks out.

It was quoted in some mainstream media (sorry don't have a link) that India and China came together to keep Pakis out of BRICS last year. Probably because of the fear of Pakis being a Western stooge.

Now Pakis are reaching out to Russians to find a way to get into BRICS.

Chinese have spent anywhere from 25 to 50 billions (nobody knows the actual figures) on CPEC. They must feel like Idiots.
Chinese haven't made a bad deal economically. Already extracted their pound of flesh by, 1) getting contracts for their own companies which work in Chinese currency and at a significant premium to the Pakistani exchequer with payouts in FX, (2) cash flow machines like toll roads and electricity discoms- they will generate cash no matter the degree of starvation in the country. With every Chinese debt trap, it's the host country that gets screwed and never China herself.

Yes and no. Chinese will be able to make Pakis pay back some/most but not all. There are rumors going around that Chinese will want some real estate (Gwadar or GB) in lieu of their $. But unrest in Balochistan and GB is making those options very improbable. Hence the high level American visits to Gwadar and GB. This is now dawning on the Chinese.

More than the investment, the Chinese had visions and actual plans to use CPEC as trade routes and also use Gwadar as a strategic port to control both commercial and naval traffic in the Indian ocean. All of that dream is now in tatters.

You are right. GB won't happen no matter how much Chinese bitch and moan. Currently, it is estimated about 3000 Chinese troops are present in GB guarding their CPEC investment. They are hoping to send more troops in but Pakis are not agreeing.

Also it seems the Americans and the Indians have very clearly told Chinese to keep their paws off GB. It is a contested location.

Even Gwadar is becoming highly impractical for Chinese. They can't even go to Gwadar without heavy security provided by the Paki army.

Russians won’t entertain it because if they advocate for Pakistan’s entry India will leave and BRICS become useless. UAE and Saudi won’t let Pakistan in either. And India has a veto.
