No. Japs hate abrahamic faiths. They have resisted Christianity despite centuries of the west trying to convert them, even in Post War Japan. That too the modern and surface level civilized versions of western Christianity. When they see third world Islam up front, they will go ballistic. Look at the reaction in Japan to that African muslim migrant who vandalized a Shinto Temple.

Religion is not only about belief is some God, but about culture, lifestyle, social values and national ethos. Abrahamic faiths completely go against the Japanese identity.
