There's a 'Watch List, 'Grey List', and a 'Black List'.
Pak is on the Watch List which is a warning for being included in the Grey List if radical changes aren't made to terror financing within three months which is near impossible where Pak is concerned.

So it's 99% that Pak will be included in the Grey List in June. There's no getting away from this as it would be near impossible to turn things around to the satisfaction of the FATF within such a short period.

In other words, Pak is screwed!

Remember, Pak has already mainstreamed terror organizations like the JuD/LeT by allowing them to stand for elections under the name of 'MML' and have even managed to win a few seats! Where is the money for their elections coming from? Terror funding!

Will Pak be able to reverse their decision and ban the MML and other terror organizations that are being mainstreamed? There would be a tremendous backlash if they did. It's like shutting the stables after the horses have bolted.

In a nutshell, Pak is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Putting it more plainly, they're fuk'd! And how!!!
Thanks for clearing things up. Question is will there be another voting in June to put in gray list or it will be an automatic process. Also can you list consequences of being in gray list and in black list.

No voting this time, just discussions! The Task Force will check out if any progress has been made. If not up to their requirements, then they'll be put in the Grey list. Which is certain! :)

The Implications are that international lending agencies will think twice before lending even a dime to Pak. FDIs will be hard to come by. There would be a three month gap for their export payments - the time taken to verify if the money is going where it should. This will pose a huge problem for Paki exporters as without ready cash they will not be able to produce stuff for export. This will further widen the trade deficit/CAD.

In short, the Paki economy will take a pretty big hit. Seeing that their economy is down the rabbit hole already, this will be a disaster.

And that calls for a beer! :biggrin2:

If no work done and no plan to deal with jihadis put forward by Pak by May,then Pak will be Blacklisted in June.(Although I think certain circumstances will arise that Pakistan will finally surrender before India)

What if pakistan launches another one of its fake Zarb E Azb type of drama, and orders its anti India and anti Afghanistan assets to lay low for 3 months? Will that get them out of the greylist?

Pakistan has amusing knack to making _________ (please fit the word which you think is appropriate) on diplomatic level.

1) They publicly published the verbatim dialog of Trump to Nawaz Sherif, that trump said Nawaz is a terrific guy who had a great reputation. (like an idiot)
2) While giving a reply in UNSC Maleeha Lodhi showed image of Palestinian Victim. (again like an idiot).
3) Kwaja Asif broke the news to media that Pakistan has got reprieved from Grey List on Tuesday, By Thursday decision was different.

But they don't do any kind of these gaffe when they are with Chinese or Arabian side. Seems they don't care of any consequences on world stage and they are really serious with their slave mindset.

Their local population is mentally retarded inbreds with polio. They don't have to worry about factual accuracy. All countries have intel departments reporting to them. They don't have to take Pakistan's claims on any international forum seriously.

The Punjabi establishment elite wants to turn Pakjabistan into a Chinese colony like Xinjiang,Hong Kong,Tibet,Macau,Outer Mongolia so that they can live in style while the rest of the awaam suffers. It would also enable them to continue Jihad against India under Chinese protection. We will have to talk about Pak terrorism in Beijing if this happens.

Nowhere it is being reported in pak media. If it is not reported then it doesn't exist for them. Let them sleep and their GSP+ status get removed.

Rome's Colosseum turned red to protest Pakistan blasphemy law
Philip Pullella

The Colosseum is lit up in red to draw attention to the persecution of Christians around the world in Rome, Italy, February 24, 2018.
REUTERS/REMO CASILLI
(Reuters) - Rome's ancient Colosseum was lit in red on Saturday in solidarity with persecuted Christians, particularly Asia Bibi, a woman condemned to death under Pakistan's blasphemy laws.

Hundreds gathered on a rainy night outside the Roman amphitheatre that is a symbol of the martyrdom of early Christians to hear the husband and daughter of Asia Bibi.

The Catholic woman has been living on death row in Pakistan since 2010, when she was condemned for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Islam after neighbors objected to her drinking water from their glass because she was not Muslim.

Human rights groups such as Amnesty International say the blasphemy law is increasingly exploited by religious extremists as well as ordinary Pakistanis to settle personal scores.

"The aim of the blasphemy laws is crush people who believe differently," Archbishop Nunzio Galantino, secretary-general of the Italian bishops conference, told the gathering.

The law does not define blasphemy and evidence might not be reproduced in court for fear of committing a fresh offense. There are no penalties for false accusations.

Asia Bibi's case drew international attention after the murder of two politicians who tried to intervene on her behalf.

At the Rome gathering, her husband Ashiq Masih said his wife was innocent of blasphemy. "This is just hate against Christians, who are considered impure," he said.

The husband and daughter, who broke down in tears as she addressed the group, were earlier received by Pope Francis, who told her: "I think often of your mother and I pray for her".

European Parliament President Antonio Tajani, who has been tipped as a possible Italian prime minister after next week's election, said that persecution of Christians was "a genocide".

"A message must be sent from this place. It is the duty of Europe to defend these values (of religious liberty) wherever on earth they are trampled on," Tajani said.

Rebecca Bitrus, a Nigerian Christian woman who was held for two years after she was abducted by Boko Haram Islamist militants, told of how she was repeatedly beaten and raped.

During the event, organised by the Catholic group "Aid to the Church in Need," there were live link-ups with Aleppo, Syria and Mosul, Iraq, both of whose minority Christian populations have been hit hard by wars.
