On a more serious note, Pakistan is one of the casualties of the petro dollar system (though a well deserving casualty). Every country that is not America is ultimately in a precarious situation where if they don't have access to enough dollars, their whole country will come to a grinding halt, and they will have no semblance of a modern industrial economy left if their dollar access goes to to zero. Even oil rich countries need dollars to import the necessary technology to maintain a modern economy, such as semiconductors, jet engines, heavy machinery, cargo ships etc, which are mostly produced and designed in US allied countries if not the US itself.

Pakistan is a very serious warning case of the noose that hangs over everyone's neck. De dollarization is the need of the hour for the non-west if we want to insure ourselves against a Pakistan like situation.
