Not at all. This is smaller, which is a bondoogle because I do not know how they achieved hypersonic velocity in such small form factor. Ergo you can deploy multiple from a F35, and gods know how many from a B1 or a F15 EX.

Looks like a khinzal copy painted in black. Only Khinzal is faster. Amrikis slow in hypersonics.

Maybe lower warhead size? Though it's also said it may be high supersonic and not hypersonic

Has anybody reported yet that weight of F-135 engine has changed from 3,750 lbs / 1,704.5 Kg to 6,400+ lbs or 2,900 Kg, that's 70% increase.
For example on Wikipedia

The following website also mentions the same & also outlines weight of replacement GE XA-100 to be 6,600+ lbs or 3+ tons.

A defence journalist or a popular Youtuber needs to ask USAF, P&W guys. They wated to upgrade the engine. In the same cylindrical space 10-20% weight addition can be imagined.

Perhaps they will add more compressor & turbine stages or do something in the empty spaces.

But 70% is way too much. May be it is exageration to confuse public. We have to wait & see.
