The 2nd table also give FGFA rcs as 0.5m², so its better not to read it.. Unless you want a stealth aircraft to be deemed less 'stealthy' as compared to a 'non stealth' aircraft

RCS is < 0.1 msq in the case of the Rafale. The Su 57 has an RCS ~ 0.5 msq. That is why it is being sidestepped for the moment. In time it will be a good replacement for the MKI once it has the full suite of L Band AESA IFF, X Band AESA radar, S Band tail AESA radar, Item 30 engines, etc.

American interest covers the entire World. And lightning carriers are good for distrbuted firepower. You do not always need a super carrier. Like in Lybia ops, had USS America and F-35Bs been operational it would have fit the mission.

BTW, there will be 11 lightning carriers of America class plus 8 Wasp class now in active service.
