No evidence of the length of the runaway prior to the ski jump, nor the weight of the bird (full clean config, how many fuel?). So nothing really interesting.

Atleast they are ahead of the Rafale in such demonstrations, more tests will happen obviously with a variety of loads.

No communality with IAF.
Plane already near the end of its technical road map (because not really a new plane, but a F18C XL)
Except the very nice camo, no real interest for India.

but it at least has folding wings that Indian Navy wants for those aircraft carriers with smaller lifts and less underdeck storage. If Dassault could crack it with some customised Rafale-M with wings that fold maybe it'd have higher chances then.

Oh and IN would also love to have some Growlers among with Superhornets if the deal reaches to that stage, anything like that on offer from Dassault?

But F/A 18 has better range and endur and can carry more more load and has more hard points than rafale-m!! When F15 is making a comeback, then F/A 18 sure can come, it's 2020 even an F5's airframe is a very much a capable one.

What are you trying to explain ? F15 was a nice high fighter. Now it is a old horse, even in EX evolution.

I never said anything about F15 into getting selected by the IAF, I only stated the fact, what you said as "F/A 18 being an old aircraft and is in the later stages of its journey"!!! But so remember, USA still uses B52 bomber and C5 super galaxy which got inducted way before Vietnam War and still does the job today!!
F16 being an older aircraft designed aircraft than F/A 18 is still the backbone of the USAF!!
