A thought just came to my mind, whether we can use the burnt out upper stage of PSLV C44 as an ASAT weapon in a latter date after keeping it in a dormant position for some time.
Is it possible to guide it to a Chinese military satellite and collide with it at our chosen time?

Well will depend on how long you can keep it dormant ie it will suffer orbit decay , it will need fuel which will determine how long it can stay in relevant orbit. Sounds too much trouble to me. But I am no expert , giving only my personal opinion.
I once posted a isro tech on nano satellite ejection system
Here
ISRO nanosat ejection system.
Interesting given the possibility of the use of this system built inside a " normal " civilian satellite with multiple ready to launch killer nanosats to be launched on demand to destroy enemy satellites.
Nobody will be wiser untill they get hit during war etc.
