T-90AM/SM already is equipped with 1130 hp engine. And Russia is planning to give all of it's T-90 (M, AM, A) this engine at least. If new 12H360 engine becomes economic then this 2000 hp max, 1500 hp normal output, will be given to T-90AMs. And T-72B3 and T-72B3M getting get 1000 hp engine.
India using such engines which are "obsolete " even in Russian standard. 70s and 80s era engine.
And Indian T-90s use heavy armour, hence they are far heavier thanjust 45 T.
These engines are for Bhisma (T-90S) which are at present using 840 BHP engines. These have been upgraded to 1000 BHP with 100% indigenous component. So nothing bad in it. Main thing is design. Even with 100% indigenous component, the design is Russian. We have to look forward to how much power could be generated by our own engine.

Tank chassis is made in certain way as to have certain engine e=design. Diesel engine did not get serious upgrades in the past decades by usage of super alloys or anything. So, the Russian engine design is good enough and it is unlikely to get any more juice by changing design.

Guess what this is ?
Before thato note the

1. The appendage at the back in red colour, which looks like a blast deflector / ground mount ( not sure though )

2. The numerous out riggers especially the white one at the rear.
Something regarding this......

Tata LPTA 5252

The Tata LPTA 5252 special wheeled chassis was as a private venture to meet a possible Indian Army requirement. It is intended to carry various missiles, such as Prahar, Brahmos and Nirbhay. It might also carry Indian Agni ballistic missiles.

Very good news about the indigenisation of the tank engines! Even if the design is Russian or based on Russian design. Would India now be able to offer these components, as well as technical consultancy to other countries, for their own tank programmes?

Only if the parent Russian company authorizes India to do so.

These can be made enmasse for Indian consumption. Exporting would be violative of Russian IP. Russia gave it to India to help India, not for India to make profits

No idea , but should be, any expert may clear
Unlike for a regular aircraft, there's no real 'cockpit' that the operator will transition to. The controls & displays will be the same if the operator were running a simulator or the real drone. It's just that the underlying controls may either talk to another computer (simulator) or talk to the real drone.
