It's sad and almost amazing how we completely failed to develop a reliable MALE/HALE UAVs, and now that the domination era of UAVs is over, we made a leap directly to swarm UAVs, and in future, stealth/low-observable UAVs (I hope so, at least).
it was understood from the beginning that MALE UAV's have little viability in contested space, so not exactly a setback. India's UAV program is more about coastal surveillance.

forget HALE and MALE , low flying ones are still effective in Ukraine

have we inducted any indigenous armed UAVs ? , even suicide ones.

also for the LAC / LOC , will need a large fleet for that .

India has offered to set up production facilities for the manufacturing of light combat aircraft (LCA) as well as helicopters in Egypt as it pursues export opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Egyptian Air Force has a requirement of close to 70 light combat jets, with a focus on local production and technology transfer.

A series of high-level engagements have taken place with the nation and the Egyptian Air Force chief is expected to visit India in a few days, during which expertise in manufacturing as well as maintenance of aircraft fleet will be showcased.

Imagine a future where we are importing LCA from Egypt with some Indian components because of slow production rate by HAL

But @Photon is claiming it
There are two class of Destroyers, one is Rajput class another is Ranvir class. INS Rana (D52) is the only remaining destroyer of Rajput class whereas INS Ranvir (D54) INS Ranvijay (D55) are the Ranvir class destroyer still in service.

Its the INS Ranvijay (D55), which is updated with vertical Brahmos launcher, other two are with inclined launchers. Interestingly, IN is not using Rajput class nomenclature anymore for Kashin 2 series of destroyers. They do call it Rana class.

Impossible
I don't think India will be able to do that they have to show their competency first I our market by providing jets in time and not delaying production

Till our production rates depends upon on order.

For 83 MK1A- They will go for 12-16 per year (7 years-6 years).

On other hand F-35 100 per year. 1000+ orders. They will have an decade of production before lines go idle.

Covid is messed HAL. But I hope within this year they will make for that.

But we can see delay in mk1a production
Mk2 has been pushed a lot many times
See these type scenes we can't even believe their timeline regarding amca mk2 or tedbf
Brother, mk1a delivery timelines agreed with IAF. COVID black swan event notwithstanding, I believe HAL will deliver within agreed timelines. Mk2, AMCA, TEDBF and all is dependent on DRDO &/or MoD. They are sarkari 100% and follow sarkari timelines. 😂

DRDO chief has again reiterated time-bound induction of AMCA and Tejasmk2 in recent article. Surely, he is saying that knowing the current progress. His confidence is more than enough to be assured and not think too much.
